Location was great and the Vacasa staff were very helpful.

It wasn't that clean and the condo had some damage.

Over all the unit 211 really needs updating. Bed is very uncomfortable. Dryer was not working. They did let us go and dry are clothes so we would have clothes to wear. So that was very appreciated. When you come to a place that says it is stocked with things you need it should be stocked. We had to buy a few things to cook with and there was not even a cookie sheet to use. The back sliding glass door latch was broken and could not lock it. They were using a wood rod to lock it. The floors were not clean and the rug in the living room had a huge stain on it. These same comments from other vacationers about the unit are in there and nothing was ever fixed or changed. Things should be fixed before renting out again.

Wonderful view. Although the building has some age, it is well maintained and clean. The pool and hot tub, as well as the seating area, maintained and kept clean. The lobby is tidy and staff very helpful. Washer and dryer in the unit was a great convenience.

Some of the appliances in the unit could use upgrade. Stovetop burners have seen better days. The skillets and pans could stand an upgrade. The fridge worked great, but $20.00 if appliance paint would do WONDERS for some surface rust. We cooked very little, but did enjoy breakfast in the unit.

Nobody at front desk the whole weekend and we had to call a different condo front desk for help and they were rude and uncaring when we tried to check in, nobody told us the rules for the umbrellas and chairs on the beach, the beach guy insulted us by telling us we could not get an umbrella or chairs in front of everyone else like we were children, yet there was no one on the beach saying we couldn't at the time, the beds were thin and highly uncomfortable, there was a loud knocking next door for hours and when we called the other condo front desk for help, they just didn't care and just said "and?", No filters for the coffee maker, it was a miserable experience and we won't be back and will tell family and friends to steer clear of pelican isle.

the staff was wonderful and got us an early check in. we were traveling with an infant and it was 110° on our arrival. they got us in early to get her out of the heat. they called to make sure we had all we needed. we had an issue with our smoke detectors going off and they were very responsive and had them changed within the hour. our condo was clean, beachfront, check in was easy.

We have stayed at Pelican Isle for years. We love the location and amenities.
