Was very clean. Nice amenities at Silver Shells overall. Real Joy customer service quick and easy to get in touch with. Everyone seems pleasant.

Biggest issue was when I filtered on 3-bedroom places, this popped up and my receipt also said a 3-bedroom apartment. It ended up being a 2-bedroom. We made it work, but we wanted every couple/individual to have their own room instead of having to put someone on the couch. So that did not meet our expectations. They offered an air mattress and a gift basket to accommodate the error. We did accept the gift basket but did not need an air mattress. Also, not sure if it’s a Destin thing or specific to this unit but the a/c was not to be below 70. A few of us sleep very hot and are used to the a/c on 65-66 overnight. Several of us got hot at night as some spots were warmer than others. Small issue with spare toilet.

Only had troubles with the master bathroom toilet

Loved the location to the beach and restaurants

I wish the floors were mopped bcz they still had sand throughout. Also a hair was on the sheet which may occurred during the making of the bed or with a combined wash & dry.
