Location for family visit. Room size is ample. Bathroom is small. Room is average clean.

Remove serious mold in bathroom, floor /baseboard under sink. Tv is good. Frig works well as does microwave. Tub is a high step p for seniors with no grab bar. Shower works well.Towel are clean and soft. Continental breakfast is fine but no fruit. Coffee maker works well for coffee and tea. Staff is friendly.

Pool was not available because of maintenance. Dining room not open, which we knew in advance. Had to drive to Renfrew to find food. Monday is not the day to travel to Calabogie.

Large comfortable corner king room (15). Bed comfy. Some windows screened allowing fresh air (mosquitoes). Nice view of ski hill and small lake with aerator. Good restaurant (owned by others'). Lovely local art (for sale) in hallways. Parking outside and away from rooms. Quiet. Tasha, at front desk, is fantastic! And, Tracy, in housekeeping, was accommodating and helpful. We don't service our room on short stays and it was easy to get supplies and replace towels. The kids stayed in one of the resort's 2-bed, 2-bath condo buildings next door.

The whole place has really good bones; however, it's looking tired and not as well maintained as it ought to be. The grounds need attention. The pool is not open. The place appears to be short-staffed.

Location was great. Liked dinner outside.

Room was dusty. No service over 3 nights in terms of room cleaning, bed made, etc. They charge too much for this not to happen 😕

excellent location but I’m here to work. I’m standing both mornings 6 am needing a morning coffee and no one home at desk! no coffee in room, request ignored the afternoon before.

Can’t wait to come back when COVID restrictions are lifted and can enjoy all the facilities! Food from restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced, staff was friendly and helpful.

Due to COVID restrictions we weren’t able to use all the facilities- not the hotels fault though

When u say ‘breakfast included’ and all u have is hot chocolate, oatmeal and some hard , old muffins.. for 300$ a night , extremely disappointed, mostly cause there is no other options 4. No fridges in room. Really really not useful when u are there for 2 days, have to bring lunches as the restaurant is not open. 5. You have to do your own coffee in your room, machine is filthy and coffee disgusting 6. phone in room does not work 7. So so hot in room no way to lower it 8. Over priced for quality of room we

Lovely resort, beautiful hiking trails very close by & friendly staff.

We would have loved it if the pool or restaurant was open but we understand that it's probably not feasible during quieter seasons.

Staff was very efficient and helpful. Cathooks restaurant was very delicious with great service.

The future is coming, you need to install a couple of level 2 electric vehicle charging stations. Your staff was kind enough to allow us to plug into a 120v outlet but that only got us to 20%, we had to drive to Arnprior to top up otherwise we would have been stranded. Believe me it is coming and for a $2000 investment it will be worth it.

This was my getaway weekend from the stress of a new college term. It met everything I needed. It was close to the town to sample local food, but far enough, the city didn't follow and sitting outside was the best part. Did not disappoint.

what breakfast ? the location was a plus , nice and quiet but it could've used some parties or dances maybe a event , i like our room it was cool

it was cold in our room we could not control the air conditioner , no food , coffee was horrible , no fridge , and no cable for the tv , no music

The location is beautiful

This property is past it’s prime sadly. The description on their web of boutique Inn may have been accurate at one time but definitely not current. The room rate certainly is not reflective of their service. No pool, hot tub because of Covid is a sad excuse to keep it closed. The cleanliness of our room was in doubt after finding an old teabag still in the beverage machine from the previous guests. Breakfast is a limited choice of coffee & muffins, really the least effort possible. I would say the same for the front desk staff. I do recommend the restaurant as the food, cleanliness and staff is excellent.

the fact that boat rental was included was amazing. Both my sons found a new outdoor activity that they love. The staff were all amazing and lovely to interact with.

The breakfast was disappointing. We do understand that it's covid, but the muffins were not very good.
