The room was tastefully decorated, and the hotel was in a quiet location, close to Grasse. The owner was terrific and served a lovely breakfast with homemade jams, all layed out on a gorgeous terrace overlooking the valley. She also gave us some recommendations for places for an evening meal. The only tricky thing was the parking, but I wouldn't note it as a negative. My best advice would be to park at the carpark located at the traffic lights and walk up the driveway and make your plan after that.

Boon, the owner was very nice and helpful. She treated us very well and recommended places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was fresh baguette, pastry, fruit, home made jams by herself, juice, coffee, tea on the balcony with a nice view. We enjoyed the chats with her as well.

Perfect place for us. It was very clean and nice. The view is stunning. Our host, Boon, was very kind and friendly with us. She helped us with information for our holiday.

This house is just dreamy. Each room has its own bathroom so privacy is guaranteed. Breakfast at the rooftop with the amazing view (and delicious jams made by Boun, the host) was the best way to start the day. We will come back!

Beautiful setting with amazing views, comfortable bed, good shower and hostess was extremely helpful and attentive. Wonderful breakfast on the Veranda home made jams fresh bread croissants fruit with an amazing view!

the steep driveway was a little tricky for my large 4x4 vehicle but I managed to manoeuvre it up and down without issues anything smaller and there’s no issues.

The lady managing the house was sweet. The place is away from the town and had a very serene feeling.

The WiFi is bad - both the speed and the connectivity. Works only in the small dining room. The breakfast was very basic. Fruits, bread milk, tea. Just bare minimum. Though when asked we were given cereal as well.

Tasty breakfast, very autentic. Nice views around and well kept house and cute garden. Friendly host. Room and bathroom was large with nice design.

Floors are a bit cold for bare foot. No shampoon/shower gel (take with you or buy in pharmacy, what you can find close by). Wifi is not the strongest (but works), to take into account that (mobile network/internet works fine). Parking might be a bit challanging for someone without experience as it is small and steep yard.

It was a great 👍 experience. The room was clean. The breakfast with the view was great. The welcoming owner. I didn’t feel Like a guest. More like a family.

Driving to the location. Google maps got us lost. At night. Besides. We didn’t like that we had to check in very early.

Breakfast at the terrace was a perfect start into the day, with great views and wonderful homemade marmelades.

Not recommend. If you are looking for a good experience,a place to relax, avoid the host, there are probably many similiar options around in which they will treat you like a guest and not a threat . Even though the place is ok, the host is a disaster … rude, slow and absolutely impolite… first of all she always looked like she was stressed and on the edge when speaking to us in tones we didn’t appreciate nor deserved… Wifi is poor There is no parking, check other guest comments. The place is hard to find No shampoo in the bathrooms… Only soap for hands No signs of where the reception is Pillows are extremely uncomfortable The check out was at 12, we left the room at 11:50 but we were using A common area at 1pm outside to do an online meeting and then go for lunch as we had a reservation at 13:30 ( see the pictures of the common area, a table outside in like the garden. there were NO other guest in the place, the place was completely empty and the owner kicked us out …. “ you should be out of here check out was at 12 “and i was like yeah the room is empty we are just using the common area for one last meeting … and she freaked out and went insane yelling that me we needed to be out of the property … When we were leaving she didn’t even bother to say “goodbye “ you work in hospitality and you don’t even bother to display the minimum cordiality with your guests ? Super rude … Ni vayan es una mala educada la señora esta no esta para manejar booking si parece que se la pasa de mal humor, tiene 0 paciencia y es mal educada y cuando no tiene ningún otro guest te echa de las zonas en común…

Our stay in Lou Candelou was exceptional! The property itself has a romantic charm. The rooms were cutely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was really tasty with homemade Marmalades, fresh fruits and bread. The host was super friendly and helpful giving us everyday new recommendations for our trips. We loved staying there and would definitely recommend it :)

The host was very friendly, very helpful and explained everything very well. We had breakfast up on the terrace which included her homemade jams which were some of the best jams I have ever tasted. We had our own space, as well as an outside table to draw and chill, we also had many maps to help us find things in the area.

I really liked the room and the shared kitchen. A lovely breakfast with a nice view.

It was a great stay at Lou! The owner is very friendly and caring. She makes amazing and delicious breakfast (marmalade by herself); with fruits, fruit juice, coffee tea and fresh bread (croissant and pain). There is a complete kitchen you can use! Beautiful view to the sea. Rooms are very nice decorated. We had a super stay and breakfasts. Location is convenient close to all cities and the sea.

The only thing was that Wi-Fi was not optimal in our room. Had to use at times my own GB. Pay attention to the way up: you have be a strong driver to manage the very inclined path towards the place.

Boone is an excellent host we enjoyed a lot
