Great Location, a very spacious flat. The check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. If you're a large group on a budget, this might be for you.

When booking the nonrefundable property - you are greeted with a message about a "contract" detailing how much you will be fined for various offenses such as moving furniture. The pictures aren't very clear about which property they were showing. When arriving the bins were still full, the cleaning ladies were having a chat at the dining table and stayed for a good hour. The oven contained some dirty aluminum-wrapped oven dish. The linen and towels were washed but old and stained. The temporary air beds are put out no matter the number of guests.

it was a fabulous location, Whole Foods, a great coffee bar, and Mexican food all near by.

The home was near a halfway house that made us feel uncomfortable. Our first night, one poor lady shrieked and screamed most of the night. our host was also extremely condescending. There was no mention of filling out paperwork online when we booked the place. We had to digitally give our drivers licenses to him and he told us that if we could not get into the home after 9 PM that we were not guaranteed a place to stay. Meaning that his check in was a four hour window and that if you did not hit it, you were out of luck. this was quite upsetting as we traveled five hours in a car wondering if we would have a place to stay when we arrived. When we met our host on Saturday morning, he made it very clear that he was frustrated with the foreigners who tried to rent his place because they didn’t understand his instructions. It was also clear that customer service was not his number one priority.

The fold-out-bed is truly rubbish but the King-size bed was faultless.

Quiet at night. Clean towels. Spacious room and bathroom.

A little tricky to find because there were no signs in front of the house. Narrow path to get to the suite, and no light when it gets dark. Floors were dirty. No door separating shower/bath from the rest of the apartment. Small kitchen without proper indoor dining table or chairs. Only some kitchen equipment was clean. No private parking. After you make your reservation (and have paid the rental amount plus 95 USD cleaning fee, 500 USD deposit, tax, and credit card fee) you receive 14 questions and rules from the host, which you must accept before arrival, otherwise if you cancel you get a cancellation fee. After the stay we spend a lot of time sorting out how to get back the deposit. Poor respond from the host.

Clean, comfortable beds, upgraded apartment, decorated nicely. Well stocked with supplies, thought of necessities. Free street parking, nice outside gated yard area with BBQ & deck. Bruno was very nice and accommodating, making us feel very comfortable.

the couch was very uncomfortable so noise, the sheets had cigarette holes in them, there was not even oil and vinegar in the kitchen. I wanted to change the trash can but there wasn't another one. they left only a bar of soap and a small shampoo for 4 people for 4 days. The dishwashing detergent was fake and didn't even foam. While you are in bed you see people passing in front of your a outdoor space. It would take very little to justify the money spent. The accommodation was not worth the price we paid.

It was a nice property and very comfortable. the owner was very nice and easy to contact. I would most definitely recommend this property.

Just location

Too old furniture, beds were making creaking noises, sheets weren’t clean neither were towels. Garbage cans were rusty, everything is too old when the host mentions it as a 4 star facility, I would say a road side motel will have better and clean stuff than this one

Amazing place, very comfortable, very clean, close to Venice beach, close to restaurants and supermarkets. We really enjoy our stay there. It is much better than a hotel, the shower-bathtub is so big that it is difficult to find one with analogous size even in 4/5 star hotels. The apartment has also a lot of other things, from the kitchen with all you need to cook to the washing machine and dryer, a nice couch outside where to relax and eat... Highly recommended.

the property was in the perfect location: walking distance to Venice Beach. such a gorgeous and unique property equipped with everything we needed and immaculately clean.

Bruno is just great! Was very responsive and sugested early check-in on a availability. He has rules, but we asked for a late checkout and he kindly agreed. Place is 10min walk from Venice beach!!! So great location. Really modern, renovated and very clean kept and cozy place. We where 6 peple and e eryone was really happy. Thanks!

Its really nice and clean place with fuly equiped kitchen. The apartment is modern and nicely designed. This place is in really good location. There are nice views from the top tarrace. In the area you can find restaurants, shops and its only 15min walk from the beach. The owner was also kind enough to let us use his washing machine.

There is only one actual bed in the apartment. I dont think an airbed, one-person sponge matterace or couch is a futon as it was said in the description. Please google "futon" if you dont see the difference. Same goes for the parking - public parking even though its free of charge shouldnt be consodered special feature to the location. Furthermore what shocked us the most is list of 14 questions and rules you get from the owner after you make a reservation and you have to accept other wise if you cancel you get charged with cancelation fees. I understand that the owner may have some special demands from the guests but this should clear before you make an actual reservation. Any contact with the owner made us feel unwelcomed and it ruins the experiance of staying in this place. My suggestion to the owner would be to clarify all of the information that he requires from the guests in the booking.com listing. This is not a standard that you would expect. I am saying this from experiance of making reservations with booking.com few times a year in different countries around the globe.

Property was in prime location! Lots of room for sleeping and just hanging out. Also found many convienent stores and resturants nearby.

There were nights were we found trouble finding parking nearby.

Excellent bathroom facilities with jacuzzi tub and luxury shower. Large closet and location with stores across the street, restaurants and beach nearby.

No door separating shower/tub from hall leading to toilet and closet area. No view or nice garden in patio area. Sofa sleeper mattress needs replacing. Strict rules upon registration but poor follow up communication including errors in financial calculations making us spend hours while on vacation trying to clarify.

Venice itself has quite a mix of people. The property is located on a street with some lovely houses but a run-down motel across the street with some "characters" hanging around out front. On the other hand it's very close to Whole Foods for groceries and many other stores. Short drive to the beach.

Loved the location. Walkable to everything, 15 minutes to the beach and within 10 minutes or less to groceries and good food.

Property was overall very pretty. Decor and space but the cleaning could be better. Some things like the kitchen and bathroom, could use a deep clean. Also sheets, comfortors, pillow (even throw pillows) were clean but old and dingy with stains.

It’s a bit scary arriving after dark the 1st day after that it’s wasn’t so bad

we had easy time parking near the house most of the time in the neighborhood. private room with entrance away from the house. outside gate with key entrance to enter the property. it was a cozy room with a small kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, 2 sinks and walk in closet. very cute welcome basket with some snacks, treats and a bottle of wine. owner was accessible via text once I got his phone number. very cute patio furniture outside the room entrance. very cozy with fireplace. nice stay for 2.

the room is a bit outdated. the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, it kind of dipped in the middle. there was dog hair in the closet, not sure when it was last vacuumed. for the price we paid, we would have liked a more updated place. location was nice but I really wasn’t sure how close we were to the beach as we went to DTLA most of the trip. walkway from the gate to our room was very dark, we needed to use our flashlight to find our way, but once it got late enough there were like Xmas lights that would come on to light up the walkway.
