Lovely location and communal areas designed beautifully
Rooms were worn, tired and uninspired. Door opens into the room only half way because it hits a fridge placed behind it. Table and furniture is damaged and worn. The sink did not drain so when you brush your teeth your spit stays in the bowl just floating there. The room stunk and even worse in the hall way to the room smelt like old dog.
When I complained they said that they knew about the problems… and that was it. They offered no remedy.
On our last night we heard the firing off a staff member in the room next to us who, let’s just say, was really unhappy about being fired. The whole thing was painfully unprofessional especially the prices they were charging for a room and lunch.
The price was shocking for what you get. It’s put me off not just this hotel but all from this group.
Overall the rooms were a solid 3/10 and when you complain you are made to feel like an idiot for saying anything

the location was perfect in a lovely buzzy village
nice pool - warmer than others
very big bedroom and bathroom, plus private terrace
staff mostly very nice and friendly
really clean
nice touches to the service - certainly a 5 star set up
the floor tiles in the bathroom are a bit slippy - they should be on walls only.
the bath was a really awkward shape for showering in - you can’t get close to the shower and have to stand in the middle of the bath, or risk slipping over.
being asked if we wanted to add a tip at the end when settling up was a bit awkward. never experienced that before and the reaction left things on a slightly sour note. shame. still, would definitely very happily return to the hotel and the village.

An excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We had every comfort and the staff were extremely helpful and just the right amount of attentive. They recommended a fabulous tour guide who took us around to wineries and villages on one of the day and helped us put together itineraries for our other days. Relaxing by the pool at the end of the day was the perfect way to wind down and dinner on the beautiful terrace at the restaurant was a highlight of the stay.
There is nothing not to like but the stay was an investment in luxury - not a value proposition.

We were compensated for the deficiencies below which we appreciated and felt was appropriate.
Arrived in rain- luggage brought in on open trailer so very wet - we would have expected better from a Relais et Chateau 5 Star hotel.
Identical fixed menu in the restaurant for all four nights of our stay.
Staff did their best, but no manager in sight throughout
Heated towel rail in bathroom did not work
Toilet broke down and had to use empty adjacent bedroom facilities for over 12 hours

This is such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in a gorgeous, bustling little town. The property feels very quiet, the parking is easy but walk through a door and you're amongst shops, restaurants and picturesque town squares. We were lucky with the weather and ate outside in the restaurant for 3 nights and loved every moment. We sat by the pool, wanderered through the town & visited Avignon. This was our third visit & we will always try to return to this hotel and we're so glad to see it again after this difficult year.

Beautiful public spaces. Excellent location. We’ll trained and helpful staff
Our room was mediocre (old wing). And the restaurant was very nice, but the menu was extremely limited and the price was high, even for a Michelin one-star.

Friendly staff!
The room are quite spartan and the bathroom with fairly basic fixtures. Not a five star infrastructure

Very beautiful historic property. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Perfect spot for excursions into busy Avignon. Would have liked to stay longer.

The old village, the building, the terraces, the trees, the garden, the sound of the wind
The suits could use some updating. The room service was very slow; we ordered 2 glasses of cognac to drink on the balcony after diner and had to wait more than half an hour for it. The breakfast was also not great. There were no tables available, and the staff was not very supportive

Extremely charming French hotel with beautiful gardens located in picturesque village. Large, comfortable room with excellent bathroom. We had our own little patio looking out over the gardens. The hotel is quaintly decorated with antiques. The atmosphere is luxurious, but very calming. We so much enjoyed our stay here.
We had dinner at the hotel, which was slightly disappointing. Although the setting is beautiful and the amuses were very promising, the main dish did not live up to expectations.
