The couple who ran the b&b went out of their way to make it a happy stay for us. The breakfast was excellent and the location was good, being only a short walk to the town.

Rob and Melissa were very welcoming. I was walking The Offa's Dyke Path with a very heavy rucksack and Rob kindly drove out the 2.5 miles to pick me up from the trail and ran me back to the trail in the morning. A pot of tea and biscuits in the garden awaited me on my arrival! Melissa rang around checking on the last eating times in the restaurants for me as it was a Monday evening. The room was very elegant with a comfotrable bed and a good shower. After several days of hard walking and camping this was an ideal stopover to relax a bit and recharge. The property is situated within easy walking distance of the restaurants and pubs/bars of Oswestry. The cooked breakfast in the morning was superb and set me up for my long walk.

Friendly, welcoming hosts who add those extra touches that puts places like this above the rest. Very stylish decor in the room and en-suite. Great location just a short walk from town. Delicious breakfast. One of my best away stays. Would highly recommend.

The hosts were most welcoming; breakfast was excellent in quality and volume; bed was so comfortable and shower had excellent power. The location was close to the town for walking in to and was in a quiet location. We were offered use of the lovely garden and we enjoyed an evening coffee on the patio with our hosts. All in all, a really lovely experience after not using a B&B for many years!!! Would visit again most definitely!

Melissa and Rob welcomed us like family. The house is amazing. They have done and excellent job of restoration and used the finest quality fixtures, etc. Breakfast was exactly as we ordered. We especially enjoyed the fruit plate. An excellent place to stay!

Rob and Melissa were perfect hosts , made us feel welcome from the start. Our room was huge, with all the facilities we needed. A fantastic breakfast finished off a lovley last minute overnight getaway. We will definitely be back . Highly recommended.

Beautiful property with lovely room,dinning room and outside area. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fab underfoot. The breakfast was absolutrly fantastic and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Would definately stay again.

We stayed in the Monopoly room, it was really spacious and the bath was amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is great, we were walking distance to the city centre. The hosts are great and really go above and beyond to make sure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Definitely recommend this BnB to other guests, you will not be disappointed. And I would most definitely stay again!

Chilton House is a lovely building conveniently located for the town centre. The room was lovely, breakfast superb and Rob and Melissa were very friendly and helpful. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was divine!
