Helpful staff that were so kind to get us a better room. After realising that booking over promised.

Booking needs to update the images. As they do not reflect what the reality is. There are different types of rooms and booking has the wrong images.

We loved having a whole two-floors living accommodation. Lots of space for our family. The apartment was unique and beautiful, well designed with many aesthetic as well as functional features. We had a stunning and peaceful view of the sea from both the garden(jacuzzi) and first floor(main bedroom) balcony. We enjoyed the wristband system used for opening the doors of the property. They operate like key-cards but as they are rubber and worn on your wrist so you don’t need to worry about them getting lost. They are totally waterproof. The absolute highlight of this property was the jacuzzi! Such a fun-focal point of our holiday. We had lots of quality family time in the jacuzzi. There were comments about the jacuzzi being too cold but we did not find this to be true at all. You can leave it uncovered or half uncovered during the day to heat up from the sun if you are worried about the temperature. A special mention to the lovely Ana who we met at the front desk to check us in. She met us with a big welcoming smile and took such time and attention explaining everything to us about the accommodation and the local area. Thank you Ana, we really appreciate your kindness! The pool technician performed a small act of kindness to my son made a memorable difference to his holiday. So much that my son has asked me to mention it here! He allowed my son (8) to feel involved while he was cleaning the pool one morning when he came to do his duties while my son was swimming. This sounds like a small thing but he didn’t have to do it. Children are naturally curious and love to feel involved. Thank you. Housekeeping is equally friendly and hospitable. Always greeting us with a smile. Nothing is too much for the members of staff we met at Garden and Sea Boutique Lodging. The accommodation and amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi and communal areas were very clean. The landscaping was elegant. The beach was a close walk (5 mins) down some steep steps.

Very spacious apartment with everything we needed. Friendly staff, parking nearby, got the room we ordered. Jaccuzzi was clean and working - we did not even use the pool since we only used our private whirlpool. Waking up to the view of the ocean with our own breakfast was perfect. The location is great, since you have everything important in walkable distance. You can get to the beach by the nearby stairs in two minutes. You get services of a hotel here without having to stay in an actual large overcrowded hotel complex. We had our own entrance and bracelet keys.

The terrace could be more private (we used the case of the whirpool to create a wall) and the cleaning more attentive (had to ask for shampoo and clean up dead cicadas). Jaccuzzi temperature was fine since it was around 30°C, but too cold in the evening and sometimes acting funny.

We didn’t have breakfast as it wasn’t an option. The location is great, very close to a lovely beach, but a steep walk via steps up, so not for those with mobility issues. The duplex apartments are very spacious and really clean but quite dated in part, especially the upstairs cupboards and the stairwell. The bottle of fizz was a nice touch. Parking is readily available in the street outside which is ideal and the receptionist was very friendly. The pool is small and cold, but in a nice setting and very refreshing if it’s hot.

We stayed in apartment 212. The jacuzzi is only luke warm and therefore not very enjoyable as it’s neither a plunge pool for cooling down nor a hot tub for enjoying the heat. Also some of the jets fire water out like a cannon.The area between each apartment is only partitioned off with old and dirty sails, which don’t provide adequate privacy or security between the two adjacent rooms. If our neighbour was in their jacuzzi, they could see straight into our apartment and if their door was open we could walk straight in to their apartment and in fact we could do the same for all those along our row too. Also from our jacuzzi we could see both of our neighbours on their terrace which is ridiculous! If I had been offered the room next door, I’d have refused it, there’s was worse than ours with a concrete wall to the side. What a let down! These terraces are definitely overdue a makeover and a new jacuzzi. On day one of our stay, we returned from the beach and decided to try out the jacuzzi but it wasn’t working and by that time, there were no staff on site as reception is only manned for a limited few hours per day. This meant we couldn’t use it until the second day, which was very annoying especially as one of the main features of these rooms are the hot tubs. To be fair though it was repaired quickly, when I advised reception the following morning but as mentioned earlier it was a waste of time anyway and if I stayed here again in the future I would not book a duplex room. Also when we arrived all of our power was off so the fridge was warm and the freezer had defrosted. I found the trip switch in the cupboard and it was fine after that. Again to be fair the receptionist came to look at it straight away, but I’d already sorted it. On our last night I decided to have a bath, however, both the plug and overflow areas were really rusty and not a nice place to enjoy a relaxing bath, so I showered instead downstairs.
