Chambre très bien, propreté impeccable service courtois au quotidien. lit très bien. Petit déjeuner super, les choix diversifiés et tout était vraiment excellent. Et que dire des employés(es) du bar toujours à l'écoute et service exceptionnel(le). Je dois avouer que ce fût le summum de votre voyage. Merci à tous/toutes pour ces merveilleux moments.
Pour ce qui est de nous, les oreillers ont été le seul bémol de ce beau séjour.

Heel mooi hotel, prima en centraal gelegen aan de boulevard bij het strand. Je loopt zo het leuke centrum in. Prima ontvangst, auto wordt voor je geparkeerd, koffers naar de kamer gebracht. We kregen een persoonlijke rondleiding. Je voelt je super welkom. Kamer was prima, niet te groot, wel super bed. Zeer ruime badkamer met douche. Heerlijke badjassen en handdoeken. Zeer hond vriendelijk, voor onze hond stond van alles klaar. We hebben nog een nacht bijgeboekt.
Het eten in het restaurant. Prijzig en de kwaliteit van het gerecht met de homard €44,- viel ons tegen.
Personeel is zeer attent en kundig. Wijnen en ontbijt ook prijzig. Wat wel leuk is om op het terras iets te drinken, super leuke plek met uitzicht op zee…
De eerste avond was het restaurant vol maar kregen we een super tip van de conciergerie. Ze hebben een tafel in een heel fijn visrestaurant voor ons besproken, een aanrader!

Right on the beach, patio/seating/drinks right on the promenade. Everything clean and sparkling. very helpful staff, including a dedicated concierge. King bed, rain shower, large bathroom, coffee maker in the room, everything you could ask for. The restaurant was excellent, though being in a 5-star hotel the prices were also higher than excellent meals we’d had elsewhere. Though, our restaurant seating was ideal, looking out over the bay.

Our room was small but beautifully arranged and decorated. The view onto the beach and ocean was fantastic and I loved waking to the gentle sound of waves. The spa facilities are included in the price and my wife loved them.
The bar was very expensive but I guess that's what you expect in a 5-start hotel!

Nice hotel right on the beach at St Jean, good swimming pool and spa.
Breakfast was very poor, made worse by one particular waitress who was unhelpful and rude. We asked to sit at a free table by the window to enjoy the sea view but were told it was reserved - no one arrived by the time breakfast finished. Coffee was cold, pancakes were cold and we were told they weren't doing more but they did when a family with lots of kids arrived later, ours were warmed in the microwave. Fresh fruit wasn't vey fresh and looked like it had been lying around for a long time. Scrambled eggs were like concrete. Croissants were good but for a breakfast costing Euro 32 pp you expect a bit more. To be fair the hotel did not chanrge for breakfast when we complained about the standard and service.

Very well located hotel, right in front of the sea. Very welcoming personnel and easy checkin process. SPA is also very good, with warm sea water in swimming pool.
Double bed would be better without the use of two beds (one plain bed)

The amenities were good, the staff were very helpful.
The shower door leaked all over the bathroom floor. We reported this the first morning. It was never adjusted/corrected. The wait between courses at the restaurant was inordinately long….

This is a Grand Hotel in the great French tradition; lots of history but modern standards;
excellent reception staff, thanks Clara; telephone call when your room is ready; good porters, nice bar; wonderful terrace.
It's expensive, but what do you expect in St Jean de Luz in August.
