We were upgraded to a bigger room which was great, that room had more facilities, and a big refrigerator for our water.
Shower was small
Bed wasn't so comfortable
No nets on the windows - the room became a bug paradise early on.
Owners didn't allow us to keep parking while hiking the next day (his right, yet why if not fully booked?)

Pension Karolina is an authentic family-run pension in Spindlermuhle. Very nice hosts, and as a guest we were grateful for a good beer and dinner in the evening. Nice to have such a place in the middle of the mass accommodations.

Really kind and helpful staff, actually it is a small family business. The room was a nice clean, everything what we needed for our stay was there.

The breakfast was very good, but what made us the happiest was the friendliness from the staff. We were there in the summer and we received a better room than what we payed for, and the staff was always worried if we needed anything. The father could speak very good german and the son english, so communication was also easy. The pension offers dinner which was very good as well. The wifi was pretty decent and allowed me to work during our stay.

The host gave us the biggest of the rooms without any extra pricing. Also, he welcomed us even if we checked in late in the night. The host was answering all our requests very quickly. The first night we felt a bit cold and the day after he provided us with an electrical heater. That was very kind! The room was really big, with a kitchen and a balcony as well.
We came there during May and unfortunately, the weather was not the best and it was a bit cold. The apartments are normally used during winter when the heating system is turned on with full power. So, the room was a bit colder than expected but the host gave us electrical heather that did the work.

We had a beautiful stay. The host family was very friendly and polite. The place is in walking distance from downtown. We definitely recommend this.

Very good location, clean room, parking place available, a restaurant in the house. Really good local draft beer.
It's overpriced compared to the room size and comfort. The sofa was not comfortable. Breakfast is very simple and you should additionally pay for it.

The breakfast offer was small, but really good.
We got treated in a very friendly manner and were even given great tips about hiking routes and access to them.
The location is few minutes away from the restaurants in the city, so no problem walking there.
Would definetely recommend it and come again!

The view from this location is really beautiful. Furthermore the staff did their best to be good hosts especially when it comes to breakfast, even though just one of them was speaking English. A nice stay overall.
The room was really clean in general. Yet, the bedsheets had a dusty smell which can be a problem for sensitive/allergic people. Also the pillows were way too soft.
