It was conveniently located to the main area of Coburg .
There were restaurants and shopping very vlose by .. there was a Tim Horton's just down the road
The outsidebappearance of the hotel was moderate but my room was very nice ..

We liked the other guests and the location.
Staff at the front desk were extremely rude. It was a pet friendly place, but we couldn't sit outside with our pet, and we couldn't walk our pet on the property. It was dusty in our room, the garbage can was filthy and there was dried urine on our toilet.

It was really clean, the bed quality was fine and the AC worked well. The inn was also close to food places.
There was a counter for cooking but no utensils to actually prepare any food.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean and staff was exceptional. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends!

that they kept our 250$ deposit because they insisted that we took a pillow and the only way I could get my money back was to return the pillow and I told them I would love to return the pillow but I don’t have it!! and how could I fix this. I asked if I went and bought a pillow and replaced it even tho I didn’t take it if that would make her happy and she said no that I had to return the pillow that I took. I again told her I would love to return it if I took it. and she said if I didn’t return the pillow she was taking the deposit. so I guess all I can say is make sure you take pictures of how many pillows are in your room upon arrival

No breakfast, easy location off the highway, clean & comfortable
Reception was not very good an confrontional. The site said it allowed pets but coe to find out therea are on;y 2 rooms allowing pet and it was not mentioned on the site. Yoy had to go read th policy as I was told by the Mgr. There should b a notation right on the site.After long discussion, we were allowed to have out pet sleep in the room in his cage which we normally do. The Mgr was getting into a shouting match with us. In customer relatinship you need to find a proper solution to satisfy the customer. The main probablem was originally the false or improper information on the website

Location to the Hwy was great ...
Although I was booked prior to arriving ... when I rang the office door bell, the person answered and I said I wanted a room, and I was told they were full.
I went to my car, called the person who booked my reservation, and they said yes, it was booked, and that there were two rooms still available. They also check another booking agency, and confirmed that yes, there were two rooms still available.
I went back to the office door, rang the door bell, this time I stated that I had a reservation, they came down, asked for my driver's license, and then stated "were you here half an hour ago, and I told you we were full", I said "yes, but someone else had booked for me". She was very rude, and said "I told you that we were full, I just booked my last two rooms, you can't have one, cause I don't have any left", I asked for my refund, and she rudely said "You did not pay me, you have to get that back from the booking company". As I did not have that app on my phone, I started the process of downloading the app, while still in the lite office, and she told me if I was done, I could leave. I stated, I was just using the lighted area to download the app, instead of trying to do it in my car. Some rude remark was stated, I said "I guess I would leave now, and would be leaving a "nasty-gram" when I received my survey." She stated "She looked forward to reading it"
I then went out to my car, called my person who was looking for a room for me, they cancelled this one, and I went down the road to Port Hope Budget Inn, where I was greeted with a smile and offered a choice of rooms, all freshly renovated.
She then sent me an email "calling me a Karen",
She is not a happy person, and I will not be using this hotel again, while the Port Hope Budget Inn will have my future business.

Location was good.
The room was not very clean, the bathroom door would not shut so every time someone was up during the night light bothered them and no privacy. Only two towels for 4 adults. A $250.00 damage deposit was taken which seems excessive for this place as damage was already existing. This is the second time we have tried this place and would not book again.

Everything was pretty good. There was some initial misunderstanding with the booking, but it got resolved in a prompt and friendly manner. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The place was clean; bed and sofa comfy, everything worked fine. It was pretty quiet. Nothing exciting in the vicinity, but it's close to the town and right on the highway (but I couldn't really hear the traffic). The place is a mix of dated and renovated, but the important stuff (bed, sofa, bathroom, floors) looked new. Pretty good as far as highway motels go. I would use them again.
The kitchenette was bare, no mugs, utensils or pots (had I known I would have brought some), but the lady at the front desk did loan me some. The floor was kinda sticky but I think it was a detergent actually - the place had a strong detergent smell, but I guess you want that in the covid times. Some spots weren't perfectly clean, but overall it wasn't bad. Bed had a very thin cover, no extra blankets. Shower pressure and temperature would change on its own a bit. But overall it was really quite ok - nothing fancy, but I would stay there again.

Motel charged an additional (unauthorized) $250 to my Credit Card, due to a most unfortunate blood spot on bed sheet. Mastercard has been notified and an investigation has been initiated.

There are springs coming out of the mattress. The bed is creaky
