Absolutely fantastic apartment, directly on the beach with a direct view of the beach and ocean from the 21st floor. Parking included. Very nicely decorated, very well equipped kitchen. Impeccably clean. Very well maintained. The host, Andrea, was excellent, arranged to meet us at the apartment and even changed USD to pesos for us at the official rate. 11 points out of 10!! (with 1 point removed for the water temperature issue, so finally 10/10 :-) ). There is a nice restaurant next door and a mini market a couple of blocks away. The beach in front of the apartment is very nice, clean and wide and with calm waters.

The previous reviews mentioned two negative points: One was the internet speed being slow. This was NOT the case for us. Even though they seem to use a cellular modem for internet rather than cable or fiber, I measured it at 25 Mb/s download, 11 Mb/s upload, which is more than respectable. The second point is unfortunately true: The water temperature in the shower (and kitchen and bathroom sink too, for that matter), fluctuates alarmingly between too hot and too cold. It's a nuisance at best, but could be a problem with small children. You will get 30 seconds at a time of good water temperature, then it will become too hot or too cold and you'll have to divert the shower head away and wait or adjust till you get it right for the next 30 seconds. The control system for the on-demand water heater is clearly defective and needs to be repaired or replaced.
