it’s really well located, close to the station and to the centre of Lavagna. there is an elevator to help you reach your floor with heavy luggage.

We didn’t like or massively dislike anything. It was an average old style hotel. It’s like we travelled in time to 1960s. The room was basic, nothing special. Everything in the hotel is very dated, but I guess is fit for purpose. I think 220 euros for 2 nights is a bit pricey for what you get, but we picked this place not to have a luxury experience, but to have a base for travelling to Cinque Terre which is very convenient as the hotel is 3 min walk to the train station. The night porter/ receptionist was very nice and friendly, the only smiley face we’ve seen in this hotel. Th restaurant ladies always looked stressed and unhappy. We didn’t get a chance to try the dinner, but the set menu looked very good and reasonably priced. It was great to have free parking on the street right outside the entrance. It would be helpful to have a mini fridge in the room. But it was nice to have air con. The shower was very small, but functional. Enough for us. But if you are slightly bigger size, you may find the tiny shower cubicle difficult. I wouldn’t come back for the price we paid, but depending on the room rates you get, it’s tolerable. We stayed in much much better places for less money, but we also stayed in worse places. Therefore our ranking is “old style, dated, but not too bad”

We got a big room for us three under the roof. We appreciated it very much. The air conditioning functioned well, the room and the bathroom were spacious, we had much storing space. Good breakfast. The hotel is near the beach, train station, supermarkets, restaurants... And the staff is nice. To sum up we had an excellent holiday.

The staff is really friendly and they are always with a smile in their faces. The breakfast was abundant and varied. The hotel is quite close to some of the beaches and the train station, so you can go to other towns close to Lavagna.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. The shower was quite small. Luckily we asked to have a different shower installed (with a cable instead of within the wall) what helped to get showered properly.
