Nice place, well located if you want to do some water activities.

Friendly staff; short walk to restaurants, etc.

Highway noise is excessive, even at night. Trucks using compression brakes are numerous.

I love staying here. It is comfortable and safe. The family that owns the Malibu is a wonderful family, very welcoming and attentative to our needs. We have stayed here for many years. They are like family to us. I can't wait to return. Mucho gracias.

The hotel is located by a road - could be a bit noisy but we weren't really bothered. The room was super clean and staff very friendly. There is everything available to warm up a meal or make a hot drink otherwise there is a restaurant across the street. Parking was safe and good.

Secure hotel with a mini store beside it, and a restaurant across the road. Costa Rican family lives there and are wonderful hosts and people. Across the road are chocolate tours and bird watching tours. Love it here..

Nothing fancy, but redone recently and everything was very clean and well maintained. Good location, not far from good restaurants. Off-street parking, gated, so no safety issues. A/C worked well. Family-owned business and they really try hard to make your stay enjoyable.
