the room didn’t have airco, the host was nice and brought a fan but it was very noisy to use at night.

Belcruz was perfect. Run by the most wonderful family - the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and so filling. The staff were also so helpful at making sure we had everything we needed and gave us all the information we needed on tours etc.

The room was beautiful with a great bathroom, the location was perfect, the staff were warm and friendly and the food was amazing!

The water in the shower was lukewarm and the pillows were crap.

The BnB with the most friendly owners and staff you might meet on your whole journey - Randall & family are genuinely gracious hosts making sure you get the most and best out of your stay and the culinary skills of Randall Jr are not to be missed.

The room was spotless and the view amazing. Breakfast was delicious! We would absolutely recommend.

It would have been nice if one of the windows was screened so we could keep it open at night.

The staff were so helpful and absolutely a pleasure dealing with. They helped answer all of my questions and then some. The location and facilities were amazing. The food was great I recommend staying for dinner. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

The room has a beautiful view from your own balcony. They have a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit. The hosts are very nice and accommodating.

It was very noisy from the road.

We loved the view and the fact that it was easy to access. Breakfast was good. We walked up their hill to watch the sunset. We had a delicious dinner here.

When it was very windy in Monteverde we really heard the wind blowing hard in the room. We could also hear motorbike traffic on the highway, but which is balanced by the fact that the access was so easy.

We booked a small room overlooking a valley and lovely landscaping. The host was pleasant and accommodating. We were just down the hill from Kapi Kapi, our favorite restaurant. Breakfasts were good and filling - granola and eggs. We had dinner there and it was fine. You can't beat the price for a good room in a pleasant setting.

Some road noise - motorbikes are ubiquitous in the area. It is west of town and the reserves are on the east side.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Just outside of town in a private, serene setting. The view was amazing! We were very comfortable in the spacious room. The Wi-Fi was spotty, but only because of the private location. We had hot water for the shower. The staff was so friendly and hospitable. We’d definitely stay here again and encourage others to do the same if visiting the area. A car is a must!

Wi-Fi signal, but no fault of the hotel. A bit more varied breakfasts.

You cannot see trucks or cars from the room but you can hear them

This is a family run business. Randall Sr. is a fantastic host. Randall Jr. is the best young chef, 21, my wife and I have ever encountered. The dinners at the restaurant are equal to a five-star restaurant in Europe or America. Truly amazing food and accommodations for the price!!!

We have absolutely nothing we can criticize. Stay here before they start charging what they should for both the accommodations and the food.

The reception and reception is a small walk from the rooms. not a negative, but keep in mind if that might be a problem for you.

Beds were too soft.

The owner, Randall, speaks perfect English and is extremely helpful. His son works in the kitchen, and could also work in a fine dining restaurant. The food is amazing! The room was nice, and clean with great matrassess on the beds. The balcony has some stunning views!

Beautiful location. Spacious clean rooms, warm shower. The breakfast was very good and we got a lot of food, including local fruits which were amazing. The owner is super friendly and very helpful. We even had a nice dinner at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time in Monteverde. The family is very friendly and has good advice on what to do in Monteverde. Unfortunately they didn’t have baby gear during the stay but we made it work. Breakfast was excellent and we loved the view from the room and the little trail that takes us from the room to the restaurant !!

We received a very warm welcome from Randall. He gave us lots of information about the area. The view from the rooms is just incredible. We loved watching the sun set. Breakfast was very nice too.

Amazing scenery!!! Very welcoming and insightful hosts, Randal and his family are wonderful. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was perfect and in a gorgeous setting.

That out stay was so short (we could have stayed there forever).

incredible host, clean and nice room with a huge garden around we could see colibris from our window good breakfast in a room with an incredible view, we were lucky enough to see Toucans in the morning all the activities (ie Ziplining) are quickly reachable by car

Nothing- couldn’t be better

Excellent host, very welcoming and always willing to help. Beautiful place full of nature, with coffee plantations, and with some trails to walk around. The breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this place to stay when travelling to Monteverde.
