it was spacious for 2 people, it was nicely decorated like a traditional Japanese house, and it’s easy to get to by public transport.
the house is a little bit hard to find as it’s on a small residential road but at least it’s very peaceful if you like that.

Great location, close to a train station.
The toilet is a bit tiny. I barely fit in it.

This property was near a river, university and walking distance to Imperial Palace Park, Philosopher's Path, and many temples and shrines. We found a lovely Falafel place nearby to eat lunch and dinner in a cute garden. The property was comfortable and well equipped. The futons were the softest and most comfortable we slept on.
The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep, which we understand is typical, but still difficult. The toilet space was tight. The walls are thin so you can hear people talking on the street.

A great little house in a very quiet area, that was a 2-minute walk from the train station. The whole neighborhood is great. The house was very clean and comfortable. Shower / bathroom was great (and big). Kitchen was clean. The tatami living room was also very nice. The house was full of lovely Japanese ornaments and paintings on the wall.

Extremely small toilet and only winter blanket is provided despite it is summer time when we stayed there.
