A great place to stay for cycling the area. The house is very well equipped, spacious, have a nice terrace with a great view on the surrounding mountains ( and to watch the Bastille day firework !), a large garden , a handy bike storage box . The access to Luz is a nice walk by the footbridge over the Gave de Gavernie.

The local internet speed slowing in the evening if you need to do zoom meetings.

This place is actually located in Sassis, a small town near Luz-Saint-Sauveur. There is a small footpath that can be used to get to Luz-Saint-Sauveur center however, so you can avoid having to walk on the main road. Just ask for details once you get there! The house itself is almost brand new and has got everything to offer what you would expect. A fully equipped kitchen, multiple bath and bedrooms and a large terrace, offering excellent views on the surrounding mountains! One piece of advice though: the pictures on booking.com might be a bit misleading, depending on the house you get. The owners have built 2 different vacation houses next to each other. The one we got to didn’t have the outdoor furniture that we saw on the pictures nor a BBQ. Apparently, these belonged to the other house. Luckily, the lady that gave us a very warm welcome when we got there (and who even spent more than an hour fixing the internet problem that had occurred, much appreciated!) went looking for some relax chairs that were hidden somewhere in the dungeons of this enormous place. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Brilliant location, short beautiful walk into a really nice town. Luz Saint Sauveur good Nike shops and restaurants Natalie was brilliant. Well kitted out house, we were cycling the cols so the garage was really handy for our bikes. Good parking We’ve had a few cycle holidays , this was the best. Very much recommend

Newly built house, fully equipped kitchen, nice landlady.

It’s a bit hard to find as there is no street name, but it’s a small town so you can’t really get lost. The staircase is a bit steep. The design is odd, but it’s a matter of taste.
