Liked the terrace for sitting out in the evening sun

Unfortunately the swimming pool was not in operation….it was the main reason for booking it so we could relax after a long drive!

Good parking on site for 5 euro or free across the road in a large public car park.

You literally had to climb over the toilet to get to the shower, not good if you are not too steady on your feet.

Nice and easy parking. Bright and spacious rooms. Pleasant staff. Near to restaurants and beach. Nice area for a walk.

I thought this was a hotel. Why are you instructed to take out your rubbish when you leave and strip the linen off the bed.

It is very good when you accept that it is not a normal hotel, but a large residence where you have to clean the room and the dishes yourself, as well as to collect the garbage and bed laundry before you leave. The room is very practical with a basic, but sufficient kitchenette. Very good wi-fi. We had a room on the ground floor with the swimming pool / garden view where we could sit and eat also outside. The hot water comes when you wait some time, so it is not a problem. Limited secured parking places inside for reasonable 5 euro, but you can also park free of charge outside at the large port parking place. Great boulangerie and restaurants are 2 minutes walking distance. We recommend the restaurant Le Delphine across the street: great food for reasonable prices and very friendly service. You can walk to the old city of La Rochelle (around 40 minutes walk), you can take a little ferry across the bay for 1 euro to make it a bit shorter. Nice possibilities to walk also the other direction by the shore.

Worked ok. No complaints, got what I needed (was on bicycle tour).

This is not the first time we have stayed at this aparthotel, so because we came again shows we are very happy

No Breakfast included. We were not told in advance it was Student Accomodation however it was quiet . No English TV channel.

Location was good. Room 119 was very comfortable.

Room 127 had no kettle. The shower wasn't usable because there was no where to hang the shower head from. The noise from whatever rave or nightclub banging away until 3am Sunday & 1am Monday was unbearable. Therefore not a lot of sleep. No double glazing or aircon.

Pool was fabulous - a little further from the centre than I had hoped but it was a nice walk along the estuary.
