Great property extremely comfortable beds. Stephanie our contact was exceptional and we used google translator to communicate. Had a husband who was unwell so the steps up to the apartment were a challenge for him. But we enjoyed our stay

Villa Borri is a beautiful building in a very picturesque setting in the Tuscan countryside. Isabella and her husband who take care of the property are very welcoming and a lovely couple who make you feel at home there. The apartment is well equipped for everything you need for a self catering stay and the finishes are very nice. The apartment is one within a building of other apartments but it was super quiet when we were there so you feel like you are alone. The location is great, a 30-40minute drive out of Florence. San Casciano is a little town a 20-30minute walk up hill that has lovely restaurants and bars. There’s also a supermarket and other amenities you would require during your stay. We walked there but it would be best to have a car as it’s difficult to get about otherwise.

The outdoor area was lovely and we knew the pool area would not be open until June, however, were disappointed that there was no seating available as the photos looked like there was somewhere we could enjoy the view from outdoors.

Really lovely and comfortable place. The washer / dryer combo helped so much as we travelled in winter. It has all the cooking and washing utensils needed with local restaurants or Coop close by. We would stay again, especially to relax even by the pool. Convenient location as we used this as our base to visit Firenze and Siena and other local areas.

A bit tricky to find initially, but not a criticism, just keep your eyes open when driving there.

lack of kitchen utensils, plastic plates felt like camping. pool shared with many properties. no instructions in English on how to use appliances etc , generally poor communication. no English spoken.

this property is excellent in all respects, and suits our needs perfectly as we have a daughter and her family in the immediate neighbourhood. Isabella the housekeeper is thoughtful and kind and the flat is very well-kept. Parking is gated and safe and the delightful town of San Casciano is a 10 minute walk up the hill.
