Nothing I loved this place

Amazing local specialities, food and wine. The brothers and everybody else is a great host, makes you feel part of family. Environment is breathtaking. Short drives or medium hikes around the towns are great ideas (pay attention to sunny hours, it's hot out there :)).

It was such a peaceful stay and made very comfortable by our two gracious hosts brothers Super Mauritzio and Luciano Situated in the middle of the Barolo vineyards not far from all of the important towns in the area Some nice restaurants nearby although they all seem to offer the same regional menu but with different prices Great for a complete getaway with a very nice Spa area

No Air conditioning It needs a bathroom near the swimming pool

We loved the swimming pool were you could buy drinks and ice-cream. The rooms were comfortable and had a fan hanging on the ceiling, which was great for the warm nights.

First and foremost, atmosphere of the hotel was simply enchanting. The hotel itself exuded elegance and Italian charm. It’s located in the picturesque landscapes of Italy, surrounded by breathtaking views of rolling hills, vineyards and charming villages. The rooms were clean and bed was so comfortable and also breakfast was so good. I highly recommend their breakfast!

The check out time is at 11am. It would be nice if it was at 12 😁

Cà San Ponzio, a beautiful country house managed by two welcoming brothers, exceeded my expectations in every way. The prime location near Barolo made it a perfect base for exploring the area. The facilities were fantastic, providing everything one could need, from a delightful breakfast to a well-stocked wine cellar and enjoyable aperitivo. The hospitality extended by the brothers created an inviting and warm atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend Cà San Ponzio for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.

Ca San ponzio, is a wonderful old farmhouse. Everything was very nice, and well organized. We felt very comfortable at this property. Don't look any further. Come and stay here, you won't be disappointed.☺️

Love our farm stay here. Lovely place and close to vineyards and to Barolo town center. Must try their breakfast (not inclusive in the price but so worth paying for). It is such a wonderful spread for Eur10 per person. The owner is very helpful too.

We loved the location and the property was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We sat out in the garden to eat. My favorite thing was the wine cellar. It was available 24 hrs with a key on your room key. Excellent by the glass and bottle selections, as well as beer and spirits available.

We were unable to stay a second night because they were fully booked. Understandable. We will definitely return!

Location was right where we wanted to be, in the middle of the wine area and within walking distance of a fine restaurant.

very good location near Barolo. The house is beautiful and there is a pool outside in the garden, with view on the wine yards. The two owners (brothers) and very helpful and they make you feel like at home. hope to be back there soon

The room was huge, overlooking a very charming courtyard where you could sit and enjoy wine from the cellar. The place had a really nice vibe. It's a great spot if you enjoy mountain biking (can be arranged by the hotel) or hiking, with trails starting straight at the hotel and leading you into the vineyards. Note: there is 1 good dinner restaurant within walking distance, but for the rest you'll have to go by car.

Breakfast was plentiful but it was an extra €10pp/per day, so you should factor that into the cost of your stay. The room didn't have air conditioning, so that might become problematic in hot summer months.

Excellent breakfast with several possibilities to eat outside (or inside). The homemade cakes where delicious.

due to the added camp side, breakfast is quite busy and people step on each other’s toes while years earlier this used to be a quite beautiful spot. Pool closes relatively early and there is a little shop on the ground playing horrible music and selling Spritz. the whole atmosphere of the place is just lost… the beds should be renewed someday soon. this was our fourth but last visit.
