A charming oasis from the bustle of the Old Town. Comfortable room, excellent food, lovely pool

For the cost of a superior room i would have expected a bedside table and light on both sides of the bed!

Beautiful and charming hotel in the best location in Fort Kochi. I absolutely loved the heritage details and found the staff incredibly helpful. The food at this hotel was fantastic and I really want to highlight how much I enjoyed the Allepey Fish Curry - oh my gosh, so yummy! If you have a young family request a room on the lower floor facing the pool as you are able to have a drink in the evening if your little ones are sleeping because your room door will be just a few feet away from the table and you can enjoy your drink in the evening and still supervise your child. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Hotel was a little pricey but that being said, it was a lovely hotel.

Heritage hotel it is and well kept 400 yrs old matching hospitality by all staff and the new year arrangements were great… centrally located to all sightseeing areas of Fort Kochi

Great location, in centre of Fort Kochi, walking distance to everything. Lovely pool, a beautiful place to while away a few hours, and a beautifully restored building. Great buffet breakfasts.

Limited bar choice, staff very willing and able to help but perhaps need more waiting staff when restaurant and hotel both busy.

We really appreciate the professionalism and the kindness of the staff. Each of them was helpful. Nice swimming pool, large choice for breakfast and very good location. We definitely recommend this place.

Meals - dinner in eve was most expensive meal I had in 3 week trip to India but was not nice and waiting staff were inefficient and need better training. Breakfast - dosas were too soft and pastries not fresh

Hotel close to the Forte Kochi beach and the whole street has many nice shops for local clothes and souvenirs. The breakfast was more occidental than I would have like, but good. The pool is very nice in the interior courtyard.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of Forte Kochi and walking distance to all the nice spots to visit. The Hotel is located in an amazing building and is an oasis amongst the busy streets. Service is just wonderfull, you're welcomed with a drink, there is afternoon tea with snacks every day and a free walking tour at 7am which I highly recommend. Staff was very friendly, they kept my bags while I traveled around Kerala and upon my return I could stay in the room till 7PM (with extra pay) because I had a late flight. The restaurant was excellent as well, would definitely recommend staying here.

An experience to be staying in such a piece of history that is so well kept. Great place to end a long trip. Pool area was wonderful, really enjoyed the complementary afternoon tea

Breakfast was excellent. Nicely renovated heritage property.

Dinner experience was really poor. Despite placing an order for 3 items, only 1 arrived after a very long wait. They didnt seem to have adequate staff to wait on people and despite being told of the pending orders, there seemed to be persistent miscommunication and 2 dishes arrived after an extremely long time, at which point half my family left the table. This is absolutely unacceptable service. We also felt the place was quite over priced for what it offered. The property is right on a busy roadside with no courtyard or space in front of the front door.

beautiful hotel. loved the colours and the decor. the free walking tour arranged by the hotel was really great with a lovely guide. staff all very friendly.

I wish the hotel would have warned us about the tuk tuk drivers who approach you outside the hotel asking you if you want to go on a ‘tour’ when really they just want to take you to tourist shops. these shops charge double price and make you feel very uncomfortable.

Room was large, beds extremely comfortable, pool and court yard very relaxing.

Nothing not to like about this Hotel - great location, has everything you what and loved the Portuguese colors and theme.

The hotel was clean, central to everything and nothing was to much for any of the staff. The hotel felt very homely and we wished we would have booked and stayed longer.
