Loved the amenities offered at the property. Breakfast / food was great throughout the day. Amazing place to relax by the pool / sea.
Our room faced the pool and the dance music was played until midnight. It made it difficult to sleep until the music ended.

Location and amenities were great. Staff friendly and well trained and educated. You can see that Valamar invested in training people and hotel amenities.
Cleaning of the hotel was bad. A guest left a pizza box in a hall room and it stayed there for 3 days until we warned them to remove it. Cleaning lady didn’t clean our bathroom for 3 days until we warned them on reception. Bathrooms are not renovated or they are slightly renovated. This is Valmar strategy on other hotels too. We are regular guests in their other hotels too and they never renovate the bathrooms so they are very bellow all other amenities.

The ambience created by the different terraces from the pool to the beach, shaded by pine trees. Rooms were in a calmer area which was nice. AC was perfect. The meals were really top quality and reasonably priced
They were in construction just below our apartment but it was properly fenced so as to occlude the ugly view
We couldn’t use our half board credit for lunch because at noon our bracelets got reseted for the next day

Close to the sea and not far away from the old town where you can take a nice walk.
Perhaps the room were to small. However I usually don’t spend so much time in the room so it didn’t brother me so much.

The breakfast; the choice was amazing and very well presented, with every dietary requirement covered.
The varied classes available, the live music/DJ and the extra activities such as wine tasting were great 😊
The bathroom looked a bit tired in comparison to the bedroom. There shouldn’t be a charge for sun loungers on the beach for the guests.

All together, there was nothing to complain. Instead, we have had an incredible time.

bought sun cream , of which i can only assume the quality was more of a body cream than sun cream both my wife and i were burnt badly after applying the cream thinking that it would protect us from the sun .

The hotel offered a lot for a great price. There was a nice dining hall and bar, plus two other bars at the pool, and beach. The menus at all the different places had a lot of options. The walk path into Stari Grad was easily accessible and took about 10 minutes to get into town with places along the way in the event you wanted to stay closer to the hotel. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Croatia!
Everything was amazing!

Everything is fine. Sport trainer Sasha and daily activities, trips excellent. Proper food. We liked that you can pay all with the watch, so I can be wallet free. Chill ambient, cool guests too. Place has good style and good guests. DJ and music is very important because it gives it a chill ambient. We will be back for sure.
Daily food offer is always the same. I didn't know there was spa/massage. It should be advertized on the screens better. Same for boat trips. Sport trainer Sasha helped us a lot.

Lovely resort with great pool facilities, Bali beds, comfortable sunbeds and access to the sea. Flexi board option is great with 25 euro credit per person per night to spend as you please with breakfast included without cost. Transfer to and from Hvar port to hotel can be arranged by hotel for a cost of 10 euro per person minus tips for driver- something they should advertise more due to lack of Uber. (Quoted taxi cost was €60 from port to hotel so definitely use the hotel shuttle)
Breakfast is very suited towards Mediterranean diet with meats, cheeses, fish etc. However good pastry selection, cereals, and fruits etc. The lunch/dinner selection is much more limited and exact same offerings- something I think many guests have agreed upon.
Rooms are very small, and maid services are not good at all- worst part about the hotel. Room was not cleaned during our stay.

The ground were very nice. The pool, gareden lounge and beach was very clean and was the highlight of the hotel. They also had an app which made it easy to see what was on and room balances. Although a little harder to get to, Stari Grad is a very nice small fishing town. Some lovely restraunts and quate buildings, 15 min walk.
The service was a bit clumsy, we asked about transfers on the seemed to be difficult to get the full answer. Had to do some quizing to get all the details. We were also charged with a massage which was pointed out upon check out. After they investigated, it turns out someone had put it under tge wrong room. We could have easily been overcharged. The restraunt in the afternoon/lunch was also not the best (greesy pizzas and dry burgers) we thought there would be more option and a little tastier considering this was what we had to pay for. A little dissapointing when comparing to the large dispaly of breakfast options. We also had lights out in the room, ants in the bathroom and there seemed to be a lot of glass being broken near the pool (didnt seem very safe) no staff seemed to man the pool incase of emergency/safety.

An employee, Luka, went out of his way to rescue us when we couldn't find the resort. He also was very good at explaining the way our meal plan worked. Very good employee.
Food was not that good.

lovely pool and outdoor area, the €25 euros to spend a day was great, lovely food, breakfast selection and cocktails. 10 minute walk along the water to Stari Grad’s restaurants and cafes.
small room, paid for a sea view but view was unfortunately blocked by trees so couldn’t see the sea whatsoever. the room wasn’t cleaned one day and the shower was leaking onto the floor. noisy aircon in room along with smell when we first walked into the room.

the accommodation is lovely. it has all you need and the staff is kind. food prices were fine, breakfast was perfect and had a lot to offer (oisters, whine, smoothies, hot meals etc.). beach and pool area are perfect.
the cleaning was not that great. when we came in the room there were hairs from other people still there (everything else was clean enough). we brought our dog which looses hair of course. the cleaning ladies were afraid of our dog (big, and barks for a second when you walk in) so they wouldnt clean our room. the one time they did they used a wet swiffer, but that doesnt really do much when you have dog hairs. would recommend a vacuumcleaner instead, and heads up on the expected cleaning time so we could have made sure that the dog was out of the room so the cleaning ladies can do their job without stress. but i do understand that that may also be not that easy.
we went in may and the price was perfect at the time, dont think it is worth the amount of money when you go in high season. but still a really lovely place to stay.

The swimming pool and the outside area was excellent. The food was good.
The elevator was out of order and our air condition did not work.

Everything. Super nice little extras in room like beach towels. Food super yummy. Breakfast is best I had in Croatia.
no complaints I would have liked to stay longer

The bedroom and view from the balcony was great. Very comfy bed. Fruit and water in the room was a nice touch. The outside facilities were superb but the weather made them unusable which was a shame. All the staff were great and had great customer service. Special mention to the girl who makes the fabulous omelettes at breakfast and Luka on reception.
The evening dinner offering lacked choice and imagination. For e.g 5 out of the 6 hot starters were all pasta based. There were technical issues with the i-pad ordering system which needs sorting out. The ceiling in the restaurant needs finishing off.

Incredible hotel! One of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Such a nice vibe, the pool area is fantastic especially with the DJ in the afternoon. The room was super comfortable with a great size balcony and sea view. The breakfast options were perfect, so much choice but the main event here are the staff. Dario at the pool bar, Lena for massage (incredible by the way!) and Marina on service…amazing! We’ve already booked to go back in 2 weeks and again in August. I’d live at this place if I could! Thanks and see you soon!
Nothing. I would be shocked if anybody could find fault with this hotel.

The location was great as on the waterfront ! Prosecco at breakfast was wonderful! Friendly staff who arranged shuttle for us to our next island.
The breakfast made to order was great.
The dinner and lunch menu was repetitive. We liked that we could spend our meal credit for wine alcohol and not just food.

the music at the pool wasn’t always to my taste

The Hotel is located really good nearby Starigrad, only a walk of 15min to the city center. All in all we the hotel.is really nice, beautiful view in the ocean, beach an pool area are really nice (especially the sunbeds). Food and drinks are offerred to reasonable prices and very gopd quality. Music and DJs are playing in the afternoon and evening but not too loud. Addtionally some acistic musicians are playing every 2nd day which was really nice. We have nothing to complain about and can really recommend to stay here.
Storage room in the rooms is limited

The hotel had plenty of places to relax. We enjoyed the flexi approach for meals and drinks. We used the resident minibus to take us to Hvar town a couple of times and he took us up to the castle to take some lovely photos. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options were great.
The only issue we encountered was a problem with the shower in our room which flooded the bathroom floor when we used it. The hotel maintenance corrected it quickly. The rooms are on the small side but we did know what to expect following reading reviews.

We liked everything. We were quite surprised that there were any negative reviews about the place. I would recommend it for everyone. Would suggest taking M size room. If you are very picky of course you will find some negatives, but overall experience is 10/10!!!
Bathrooms are quite creepy :D but it did not bother us, and we did not get any cleaning during our stay, but these minor details, are completely forgotten when you see the breakfast table :)

Food was great, location was great, reception/food/bar staff were all awesome, rooms were great, views were great, vibe was great, music was generally amazing, live music was great. We had been at Sani Resort in Greece the week before (5* and significantly more expensive) and whilst there are obviously going to be differences we were equally comfortable here. It's basically a nice Ibiza-y style hostel that has been improved for people with a bit more money. The pizza guy from Bali is absolutely epic - so friendly and the pizzas are genuinely a game changer. Everyone makes good pizzas but if he can show the others how he does them the standard will remain consistently high as when he wasn't there is was definitely suddenly quite average. Staff definitely make the place significantly better. General landscaping request - please trim some of the trees as the view is spectacular yet it's all hidden!
The super-chilled music is what they should have all the time not the occasional pop/dance as makes for a far better atmosphere.
We've been all over the world to resorts and never had to pay for sunbeds within the resort (it's not even a beach). Just price it into peoples stays, it makes it feel very money-grabbing otherwise.
Equally with the tennis courts, for a court that isn't a great surface with balls that were very used ie quite dead, 20 euros per session over a week would soon add up. We'd love to play every day and bring our kit in future but it's currently something that holds it back rather than adds value and is perhaps because they're using another hotels court.
Orange juice at breakfast is a cheap cordial whilst the apple juice is normal - slightly odd.
Please can a chef show the front of house how to make better omelettes - just scraping eggs onto a plate is not an omelette! They also occasionally give the impression it's more of an annoyance to make them so perhaps change the staff every hour or something...
Coffee machines are highly inadequate and need replacing. People shouldn't have to queue 15 minutes to make a coffee whilst they've already got their food sitting on the table. Many similarly priced hotels take coffee to the table.
Ramps need to be put on half of the stairs up to the elevator area and from the back sliding doors down the large steps to the sea. There would be no way anyone in a wheelchair could stay, and more importantly for us having to carry a pram up and downstairs all the time gets annoying - a single mum or dad just wouldn't be able to do it.
Music can be far too noisy in the restaurant - sometimes it gets confused whether it wants to be a chilled place or a party place.
The pool should be heated at this time of year.
