Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, war gut ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber. Wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht! Das Haus liegt ruhig und doch nicht zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt.

We loved this hotel! The bay windows with a view of the loch were fantastic. We received robes, slippers, and sherry. Unfortunately, this hotel like others is unable to provide breakfasts so that would have been nice but coffee, biscuits, fruit, and oatmeal were available in the room. Beds were very comfortable too and the bathroom was very large.

The room was amazing the view was incredible I found the booking etc very easy and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard.
Could have done with breakfast of some form. We were going out for breakfast and just a heads up most places close at 10 except wetherspoon.

We booked this accommodation but last minute problem with rooms so they asked if we would stay in an adjacent hotel. We agreed on the understanding that we would have same facilities. Ended up sharing bed (and sharing bathroom between 3) paid €962 and subsequently discovered that the alternative accommodation cost €768 but mackays refused to refund overpayment. So cannot review mackays as we did not stay there.

Very large room with large comfortable bed, seating by window, table and chairs, fridge, good storage, very clean.

No traditional breakfast, but a breakfast box is available which includes coffee, milk, fruit juices, pastries, yoghurts and a large selection of amazingly fresh fruit.

Comfortable, large room with a beautiful view of the harbour. Nice, quiet location, only a short walk from the town centre. Parking was a breeze and very convenient.

Had a lovely night here and fabulous cooked breakfast served to the room in the morning. Beautiful sea views and lovely big room with a really comfortable bed. Was put in one of the downstairs rooms which was great as my mothers mobility isn't great. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here the next time I was visiting this area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The location and the view of Oban harbour from our room was our favourite thing about the property! It also had all the facilities required for our stay. Plus some nice extra touches, such as the binoculars which were used to spot many great sights! Our room was very spacious, clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
There wasn’t much variety of breakfast options available but plenty of tea/coffee in the room and having the refrigerator in the room too was very handy.

We did not choose to use the breakfast. It’s too much for us to eat. One breakfast for two people would’ve been better, but it would’ve looked like we were trying to be cheap.

Lovely guest house, our room at the front was exceptional, right on the front overlooking the sea, through a beautiful bay window. The welcome was lovely, the breakfast excellent and the attention to detail was fantastic. Highly recomended

Superb location for a comfortable and quiet evening, and a stroll into town for the many restaurants available - be advised to book ahead, it gets busy !!

We really enjoyed our stay at MacKays. We were made to feel really welcome and were given a lovely, large room with a view over the water. It was only a short walk from the centre of Oban so the location was perfect. We were given an early breakfast (so that we could catch the ferry), which was perfect for an early wake up! Definitely recommend staying.
