Ce nouvel appartement est situé dans le village traditionnel savoyard des Houches, à l’entrée de la vallée de Chamonix aux pieds du Mont Blanc qui accueille la coupe mondiale de descente de Kandahar. Il est virtuellement sur les pistes avec le tramway de Bellevue et les télécabines de la Coupe du Monde à 150mètres plus l’arrêt de Ski bus qui donne accès aux nombreux autres domaines skiables de la vallée de Chamonix. Entièrement équipé et meublé selon des standards hauts de gamme avec TV HD par satellite. A moins de 150m il y a 3 excellents restaurants, 3 bars et une bonne sélection de commerce

Family half term skiing holiday In Les Houches
Lovely cosy apartment in an amazing location, which even if you don't want to ski has plenty of beautiful walks and things to do. Apartment is really well equipped with everything you need it’s really lovely we will definitely book again. Was absolutely perfect for us as a family.

Lovely well equipped apartment with underground garage space , ski locker and bbc tv via Freesat. Close to base of Bellevue gondola, bars, restaurant, shops and ski hire rentals. The main living/kitchen/dining room glass doors overlooking the slopes is sited directly opposite an adjacent chalet so privacy is somewhat compromised. The local supermarket is excellent but a little too far to walk if doing a big shop and having a rental car really helped us.

A very nice apartment that was an ideal home-base away from home and that was perfect for exploring the Chamonix Mt. Blanc area. We would definitely like to stay there again when revisiting the area (which we most certainly will). Janet was super helpful, extremely quick in her responses and a very reliable host. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful cosy very well equipped and clean apartment.

One of the best properties we've stayed in
The whole experience of this property was exceptional. We've stayed in a number of properties over the last decade and we rarely bother to review because, while generally the standard is high, they're all very similar. From the beginning Janet's communication was superb, before booking our questions were answered quickly and clearly, after booking Janet was very proactive at providing all the information we needed and our arrival went very smoothly precisely because of the clear instructions and information. Upon arrival the apartment was in excellent condition, it was clean and well equipped and we were particularly impressed by the homely feel. There are a number of folders in the apartment with local information, very thoughtfully separated into English and French language, and similarly the TV was equipped with both English and French speaking channels, an unusually nice thought. All facilities were superb, the shower was exceptional, the washing machine was huge, the basic consumables were well provided and the WiFi even worked (unusual in our experience!) There is covered parking with the apartment which we found extremely useful and both the external and internal garage door were tall enough for a normal estate car with a roof box. I do not think a large vehicle (e.g. large 4x4) would fit with a roof box fitted but should be fine without a roof box. The walk to the Bellevue lift is short (maybe 300m easy walk?) and around the same area are the usual French village shops (boulangerie, pattiserie, etc). There are a fair choice of ski shops around the Bellevue lift but our recommendation would be to walk up the hill a little (away from the lift) to Skimium, which is cheaper, better equipped and covers more sports (e.g. snowboard and snowscoot) than the mainstream hire shops. Thank you Janet for the excellent accommodation, we hope to be back in the coming years.
