A beautifully furnished one bedroom apartment. The decor was very tasteful, modern and comfortable. the kitchen was well equipped and I loved that there was a washing machine and dryer. Everything was clean and fresh. Communication with the host was good, we received our access codes well ahead of arrival. The location was great within walking distance to and from VIA railway station, metro station and the old town and harbour.

The furniture and floor are a bit run down and the toilet flush was getting stuck. The online check in process is very cumbersome

Took over an hour to check in due to wrong door codes. Took too long to be transferred to a new room. AC not working in first room. Could not get confirmation if we could stay in the new unit for the two day stay without having to move rooms again.

Excellent location and facilities, road noise can be loud sting the night but nothing excessive. Good communication through the chat

Check out flexibility would be appreciated, asked to extend to 12pm from 11 am and was sent a message to check if the time was available but there was no other options except 11am or earlier. Some flexibility could be offered as check in is from 16:00 anyway for the next guest

We stayed in room 207 — theoretically 2 bedrooms, although one had a frosted glass wall and was open at the top. (guess that’s the loft) It had full-size appliances in the kitchen and a stacked washer/dryer in bathroom. The location was a 2 min. walk to the Metro, and less than 10 mins. to Old Port.

Very worn looking walls with scratches and dents, rug (was filthy and edges curled up — making it a tripping hazard), table was stained, coffee table had a hole in the top, floors are concrete — so bring slippers or be prepared to wear shoes. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the ear plugs and white noise machine supplied in each bedroom as we stayed Tues-Fri. There is a night club below Sonder. I reached out to Sonder through their app to mention the condition of the place, the dirty/trippy carpet and to mention some light bulbs were out. They never followed up to arrange a time to send someone to address my concerns. They suggested I give them permission to enter any time. (Um, no…) Parking in the area is a challenge. After reading unpleasant reviews on Google about some garages/lots, I decided to park at Embassy Suites/Hilton down the road. It was very expensive ($45/day), but my car was ‘safe’ and accessible.

Location was great, access was easy, extremely clean. Given the good price, I wasn't sure what to expect, so was very, very pleased with the apartment. Plenty of linens, blankets, kitchen supplies. Comfortable beds, table/chairs for four, quiet building. Perfect place for us- walked all over the old city, more restaurants than we could possibly eat in right out the door! Would def return if we are ever in Montreal again

Layout worked for two couples, though one room was separated from the living area by a three quarter wall so not totally private. Was not a problem for us, but could be for others. Only complaint for us was there was not adequate reading light in the living area. Hard for four people to all read at the same time. Set up would work for TV watching, but needed more lamps for reading.
