An excellent location to relax and recharge your wellbeing and definitely to be considered for future holidays.

Can't think of any negativizes about the whole experience at Horta Nova.

This is a very nice 3 bedroom house in a vineyard. There is a shared pool with several other houses. The house is well equipped and comfortable. It has a very nice little patio where you can relax. The owner very kindly gave us a bottle of wine that he had made. It was delicious! One bedroom is quite small with a very small window. The other two are spacious and comfortable. There is a bus stop very close to the entrance of the property that takes you into Lagos and is very convenient.

The house was further out of town than we had expected which made shopping for groceries etc difficult. There are several supermarkets in the adjacent town but the walk back again is quite steep.

Such a beautiful, well kept place. We felt very happy relaxing there and didn't rush around exploring the Algarve as much as we thought we would. The pool was amazing, and Espiche was a nice village 5 or 10 minutes walk away with bars and cafes, a shop and a skate park/playground.. Luz beach is stunning and it took us about 35 minutes to walk down the hill to it. Uber taxis were a great way to get around. The kitchen was well stocked and we barbequed most nights.

There was a barking dog next door kept us all awake one night. We were a bit cold in the house at night and wish we'd brought warmer clothes.

The view, the silence, the pool and the friendliness of the hosts. And the wine!

The sewage system did not work properly. Since we had used the washing machine, the sink in the kitchen did not empty properly anymore and it became smelly. We could use the washing machine in the other apartment though.

Pool was excellentand garden area was very pleasant to sit and relax in ,rooms were clean and comfortable our host was charming and clean laundry/towels we're promptly delivered.All in all very very good The Barbecue was excellent and was great to use

One of our friends staying slept in the small bed which was just big enough but only just,Though we ate out most days ,a slightly bigger fridge would have been useful for drinks and food essentials like milk and juice ect,,and another cooking element on the hob ,a family with small children may find this useful but these are minor concerns

We had an amazing stay at Horta Nova. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and gifted us with a home produced bottle of wine. The house was amazing and located in a perfect place. It was really worth the price we paid for a week. Great swimming pool.

We wished for a bit more cutlery and a hoover.

The hosts were very friendly and left you alone to enjoy. Nice country location with easy access to the main N125

There were problems with noise - dogs in the property next door which kept us awake all night and also noise came from the local campsite late one night with live music. The house was nice but facilities were quite basic, especially in the kitchen. The water tank was not big enough to cope with 4 people so it was impossible for everyone to shower at the same time.
