Alessandro, was a superb host. He spent an amazing amount of time with us going over everything and giving us some awesome tips on places to visit. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures and it was an absolute pleasure staying near the Duomo and allowed us to be close to everything. Alessandro was very prompt and helpful with answering any questions and helped us obtain a taxi to take us to a meeting point for our guided tour. I can't think of one bad thing to say about his place, you'll have everything you need and I HIGHLY recommend booking this place. If we ever visit Florence again, we will definitely stay here. We have used vrbo on many occasions and have to say this was our finest apartment. The location was perfect, near the center. There was a ice cream shop,sandwich shop,a wine window,a supermarket all within walking distance. I can gladly say we will use the apartment again and will recommend our friends to look at using this apartment it is absolutely perfect for a holiday in florence

This apartment had everything we needed for a 12-night stay. The bathroom had great lighting and good storage. The closet in the bedroom is large and amazing. The terrace provided a nice place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The location is stellar and the elevator is great for mobility-challenged people. On top of it all, Alessandro was a great host! Wonderful place.

What an amazing location, just steps from the Duomo. This apartment is right in the heart of the city which made it easy to explore the city by foot. We spent the most time out of our trip in Florence and felt very at home. The apartment is set up with all the comforts of home. The host was most excellent, he sat down with us and gave us a lot of helpful information about the city and things to do. He was also very attentive to any of our needs and was always just a text message away with answers to any of our questions. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Florence to consider staying here. The only problem we encounter was that the apartment was located in the middle of the block which was confusing because the address is 1 so you would think it would be at one end or the other so keep this in mind.

We stayed for a week mid April 2023 and we loved it. We were just yards from the Duomo, the biggest tourist spot in Florence yet the apartment was quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the apartment had everything we needed. We recommend this to anyone visiting Florence!

There is only one Florence, and it was ours for several days. We have visited Florence many times during our life time and it has been always lovely. Every time we loved Florence more, and this time was different because this magnificent property was at our disposition. Thank you for everything.

This apartment is roomy and very well appointed. My wife and I were so comfortable here. Another advantage is that it is quiet, which was a welcome change from the large crowds in Florence at Spring Break time. Alessandro is a terrific host. He stayed in touch with us and offered his advice and help in any way we might have needed.

Alessandro was a perfect host! Upon greeting, he explained everything about the apartment and took the time to provide us with locations for attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We walked to all of the sites on our itinerary; Duomo (steps away), Arno, Accademia - the list goes on! The apartment was well furnished and decorated. When we return to Florence, we will definitely stay at La Terrazza al Duomo.

We enjoyed twelve nights in Alessandro’s apartment literally a few steps from Florence’s Duomo. All the terrific reviews are deserved: Alessandro could not have been more welcoming—meeting us at the apartment and explaining how everything worked. The apartment itself is spacious and the lovely terrace off the living area is a perfect place for a light meal or a glass-or-two of wine after a busy day. The apartment was scrupulously clean, well maintained and a quiet refuge from an otherwise busy part of the city. While the location is central, the street itself—Via dei Servi, right off the Duomo’s piazza—seems to be truly a neighborhood. Note that this street connects two sites of historic and artistic importance: the Duomo’s piazza, and Michelangelo’s Piazza of Santa Maria Annunziata—perhaps the first true Renaissance square and an easy stroll. In addition to the restaurants, sandwich, pastry shops and gelaterias one would expect in a tourist-centric area, there were on the street a mini-supermarket and a small hardware store nearby. Alessandro and his team quickly addressed whatever questions or items arose during our stay. As a result we always felt we were in good hands. Our personal recommendations nearby include Robiglio for pastries (a Florence classic), Amorini (sandwiches) and gelateria across the street, and the Locanda Fiorentina restaurant immediately adjacent to the apartment building. The Conad mini-mart up the Via has a wonderful salumi-and-bread station as well as a terrific wine selection. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever lucky enough to be in Florence once again.

Alessandro is the perfect host with the perfect property in the centre of Florence. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We spent two weeks in Florence and this was a little oasis at the end of each day. Our host Alessandro could not have done anymore for us, he is an amazing host! We will return, hopefully next year. This is our second time staying at this property, and we are counting the minutes until we can visit again! The location is perfect- you are steps to the Duomo and can walk to everything, but the street itself isn't that busy. The apartment is spacious, has a brand new updated bathroom, and has everything you need if you decide to get amazing fresh ingredients at the nearby market and cook a meal at home. And I cannot say enough about the host- Alessandro. He gave us so many suggestions for things to do in the area, and was available by text for any questions. As I said- we will be back, and will always stay at this property!

Just had a very nice stay in the Terrazo al Duomo apartment in Florence. The apartment was charming, clean and nicely appointed. Emiliano gave us a very warm greeting. Showed us around the apartment and even took us to the local supermarket to get groceries and carried them home for us. We were right in the heart of Florence but the apartment was very quiet. We also really appreciated the air conditioning as Florence was in the middle of a heat wave. We had to go back to the apartment in the middle of the day to cool off. The central location made this very easy. We were very happy with the lodging and would definitely return.

I was traveling alone for business and this place was just perfect. It was a short walk to the conference center (and anywhere else in Florence). The apartment is as pictured, but even more charming . Lively neighborhood with shops, restaurants and sightseeing all around. Of course the cathedral is stunning and only steps away. The owner is communicative and helpful. He even helped me find a departure COVID test on Palm Sunday! I hope to come back with my husband to stay again soon.

Apartment is fantastic, has everything one would need for their stay in Firenze. My daughter & I felt comfortable and safe as it was only the two of us on this trip. The central location makes for short walks to the palaces, squares, museums, churches, groceries & shopping. It has an outdoor sitting area that is perfect for meals or relaxing. My daughter & I completely enjoyed our stay in Firenze.

This is a great VRBO. The owner is wonderfully communicative and generous in providing a lot of information and resources to ensure you have a great experience. We became hooked on the italian coffee that was waiting for us when we arrived. The location is literally less than 20 steps to the duomo piazza. Apartment is beautiful, clean, well appointed. We even got to meet Anna the lovely cleaning woman. We were able to tack a few days on to our reservation when we realized how great the place was going to be. I've already recommended this to everyone I've told about our trip. Book it! You'll be happy you did!

We had a lovely time in Florence, and this apartment was ideal for us. Steps from the Duomo and restaurants. The terrace is perfect for a private meal or drink at the end of a busy day walking and exploring. Allessandro was so helpful with getting our bearings and giving input throughout our stay.

This apartment is so close to everything. It is clean and comfortable. Allessandro was the perfect host. I stayed here with my 16 yo daughter and she wants to return soon and stay here again. The restaurant across the street is delicious!! It’s a wonderful relaxing place to stay!!

I rented this apartment in April 2019. The location couldn't be better. It is in a building that is adjacent to the Duomo. It couldn't be closer! Taxis were close, although I didn't need them. We got to the apartment by walking for 15 minutes from the train station. It was easy to find. The apartment is exceptionally clean, secure, in a good neighborhood, and is well appointed. It is on the second floor, with the elevator door adjacent to the front door to our apartment. We never heard the elevator or other people in the building. The owner had a very nice welcoming for us, and provided all kinds of information regarding suggestions on restaurants, transportation, etc. A great place to stay! If I were to ever visit Florence again, I would rent this apartment again!
