I think that probably the other ones would have been okay. These are bungalows it's close to a nice enough Beach although the coral is all dead..

If you do decide to go make sure not to get room 10. It probably should be demolished. I guess it's the one that they reserve when there's nothing left of the rooms that are maintained. This room was a disaster. It needs to be completely refurbished. Plus the mosquitoes plus the general State of disrepair of the bungalow. As I said maybe the other ones are nice but definitely make sure not to stay in room 10. One other thing you should be aware of. This place is way out of the way I on a map it looks like a couple of kilometers and it probably really is but to actually get there the cartel pickup drivers charge and exorbitant rate to get out there and back. And once you're out there, there's nothing around there's next door there's a resort which charges big money for food. We rented a motorbike which cost $400 a day, again cartel prices. If I was to do it again I would have stayed in town and just got in a place when I arrived. Oh yeah and the bad you could just feel the springs the lining was all gone..

We hoses room number 7. Which was the last location of theirs premises. We got disturbed around 2-3AM by knocking sound of the door. We literally scared and lost whole night sleep. Apart from that okay. But bathrooms and bedroom looks too older type model with unsafety features. I don't know about other rooms. Because room no.7 they gave us for 767 THB only. Eventhough they could improve in quality.

Nice beach and nature but not recommend to stay here! Bedbugs in all thee beds in the rum for 4 persons. Everything that could be broken was broken. Because of the bedbugs in all three beds we slept on the floor on the blankets. This place has not have been maintained since it was build I guess. Floor and chairs on the terrace were broken and dangerous to walk and sit on. The way from reception to the rum passes through a collapsed house where all construction garbage were left. Very pity because the place is beautiful. The horrible extremely high music from the neighbouring hotel every evening 19:30-23:00 will not let you relax. Personal in the reception was not service minded at all. Very strange and unusual. This hotel should not exist because of the bad condition and maintenance.

This is my favorite beach. Good cheap rooms, just in front of the beach.

Very noisy neighbors. Loud music till the late night.

Location was a secluded part of the island.

Room was full of mould, there was mould growing inside the kettle so I couldn’t make a coffee, the resort next door is very loud at night, no fresh towels or toilet paper given or room clean.

The room was good value for money. The staff were very helpful and the view was amazing.

The location is nice very near the beach and quiet if you prefer to be far from the noise and crowd. The water is clean too. Nice to sit and relax at night in the bar.

The room is not worth the rent. Bed uncomfortable sheets old and coloured. I prefer white sheets when I’m in a an accommodation like that. Not comfortable at all it’s not that clean.

Place and ambiance of the hotel

Contacting of staff was complicated. I gave inform to staff that heating of water does not work. I asked him fix it. Not solved yet. Millipedes were in bathroom. Bath is not cleaned. Desk is closed. I gave a key to near hotel, when I checked out.

The beachfront room had such a beautiful view, large fridge which for a family was excellent. Having the resort next door was great for evening entertainment. Beach itself clean and great for paddleboarding and kayaking.

For what you pay for the accommodation you cannot really complain. However, the bed could be a little comfier. Definitely pack mosquito repellent.

Good location. Only 30 steps to the stunned beach

There were bugs, insects, dead worms, gecko and even gecko’s egg on a bed. It might be during covid 19, the room had not been cleaned for few weeks, dust on a floor, smell sheets and pillow cases.

The location is perched on rocks at the end of a very nice beach - about 20 steps from the door to the sand. There's a big sliding glass door which lets the sea-breeze in and offers an uninterrupted view of the cove. There's also a shortcut to the next beach round the corner.

Sangthain Hills itself is great value for money and is exactly the kind of place we like - simple and clean. Ideal for a short break. Unfortunately, the noise from the Sangthain Beach Resort next-door was too much. Every evening from around 6pm till 11pm, they have music playing really loudly. The bass is so high that our cabin vibrated. It's so loud that we had to shout to have a conversation with each other. My kids were tired the whole time because they couldn't get to sleep at night. It's a shame because the rest of the beach is really quiet and peaceful, and Sangthain Hills Resort spoils it for everybody. We were looking forward to listening to the sound of the waves at night, but all we could hear was terrible music from the resort next door.
