La maison est implantée près de Saint-Lô (50) à mi distance entre le Mont St-Michel et les plages du débarquement à seulement 30' des tapisseries de Bayeux (14) et du site de la Souleuvre (Saut à l'élastique, tyrolienne géante).
Spacieuse, elle dispose de 4 chambres, de deux salles de bain, d'un grand jardin et d'une terrasse de 80 mètres carré.
Elle dispose d'un téléviseur connecté et d'un système audio qui vous permettra d'écouter les chaines radios et musiques du monde entier. Vous pourrez aussi vous essayer au Karaoké :-)
Un barbecue sera à votre disposition sous l'abri de jardin et un ordinateur sur le pallier à l'étage.

The home was perfectly situated for what my family and I wanted to do during our stay in Normandy. I was traveling with my parents and the downstairs bedroom was a great setup for them (no stairs).
The upstairs had 3 bedrooms with another large bathroom and a separate water closet which worked great when everyone wanted to get ready in the mornings.
This home has a great backyard with an electronic pergola and screens. It is very easy to use Gerard is available to answer any questions. Very clean and well-appointed and we enjoyed our time.
Gerard and Valerie were great hosts and the city of Saint-Lo was charming and welcoming with plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants to choose from.
Would definitely book again should our travels bring us back to Normandy.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful spacious house. Location is great to enjoy the Normandy. The owner Gérard is really nice, always available and he he turned the heating on when it got cold in July, which was really nice!!

We booked this property for 4 nights to roam and explore Normandy (in particular all WW2 remaining and site-seeing’s.
The owner of the property is a very nice and friendly person. The house is absolutely wonderful (big bedrooms, big living room, kitchen and bathrooms), literally everything is on board. Also the garden is really wonderful.
I would absolutely recommend others to book this property (house) for their next getaway!

Well appointed property, comfortable, with many facilities, in a very quiet semi-rural location. Well served by several hypermarkets within easy reach. Saint-Lo is well worth a visit. More local emergency information needs to be provided in the 'purple' book, however, as well as all operating instructions for the appliances. A very enjoyable stay... so much so we would like to return next year.

Our family of 5 spent 3 nights at this house and absolutely loved it. The house is in a small commune just outside St-Lô. Plenty of room in house and a fantastic porch area with electric screens to keep bugs out. Restaurants and grocery about 5mn drive.
Only a mile away is the Chemin de Harlage which goes along Vire river through tons of quaint villages- a fantastic bike ride.
Landing beaches are a good hour by car and Mt St Michel was about 45mn.
We spent our third day exploring St-Lô which pleasantly surprised us. The town center has an excellent walking path through the old city walls, a great lookout tower and a gothic church partially rebuilt after WW2. A very quiet but beautiful city that was 95% destroyed in the war and is a hidden gem off the beaten path to avoid tourist crowds.
I highly recommended the house and the area.

We spent a lovely week in Normandy and were very happy with the stay in Baudre. Having a main floor bedroom and ensuite for my older father was a great option. The location was teriffic for access to roads to explore, and to amenities in St-Lo but in a quiet and peaceful location that feels like being deep in the countr

We enjoyed our stay in Baudre and the house provided a good base from which to explore all over. We did the landing beaches, the west Cherbourg peninsula beaches, had a great day at Normandie luge and zip lining all of which were within a 30-45 minute drive.
Saint Lo itself is worth exploring - we saw the horse show, enjoyed the swimming pool and the old town.
The house could have been a little cleaner on arrival and some BBQ utensils would be useful. The table tennis in the garden was a great hit and the house was a great space and perfect for exploring the area.

Sehr schönes Haus. Weiter zu empfehlen.
Ein Haus in guter Lage. Alles beschriebene so vorgefunden wie im Inserat. Einrichtung so gut wie neu. Sehr großzügige Küche mit Essbereich und Fernsehecke. Alle Geräte funktionstüchtig. Duschen geräumig. Außenbereich gepflegt und der Lounge Bereich sehr bequem. Gut sortierter Supermarkt nur 2 km entfernt. In Details könnte es noch etwas sauberer sein ansonsten alles toll.

Aangename woning, goed verblijf.
Aangename woning die overeenkomt met de foto's en de beschrijving. Communicatie met de eigenaar verloopt vlot, vriendelijk en hij reageert snel. In de woning heb je alles wat je nodig hebt om te koken, wassen, strijken,.. Enz. Hygiëne in het verblijf is oké, hier en daar zijn er wat schoonheidsfoutjes. Dit komt van de vorige mensen die er verbleven en de eigenaar niet had opgemerkt. Het huis ligt rustig gelegen en er is vlak bij een supermarkt. Bekende bezienswaardigheden zoals le mont saint Michel en utah Beach zijn op een uur rijden van de woning.

Super pied à terre en Normandie !
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette maison située juste à côté de Saint-Lo, d'où nous avons pu faire toute la côte de Saint-Malo à Etretat. La propriété est grande, moderne et agréable, très bon accueil des propriétaires très charmants, nous vous recommendons cette maison !

Great house in a lovely location
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house in Baudre. It is located in a very quiet residential area, yet only 2 minutes drive from a hypermarket and less than 10 minutes drive to the town centre. Well-situated for trips out to the Normandy landing beaches, Arromanches, Port-en-Bessin, Bayeux and numerous war cemeteries, Granville seaside resort and many places of interest and museums within the Cherbourg peninsula.
The house itself was fully equipped, spotlessly clean and well set out. There were dining tables inside and in the pleasant garden area with a barbecue available to use.
Many thanks from all the family to our warm and welcoming hosts, Gerard and Valerie. We have had a brilliant week. Will definitely try to return in the future.

Big and nevertheless cosy house
We (five adults, two children) stayed for one week and it was wonderful! The house is well equiped, we had our meals on the terrace almost all the time, and the house is big enough so that everyone has enough room.
Defenitely good for groups or families!

Alles passt
Großes Haus in toller, ruhiger und zentraler Lage. Alles wie beschrieben, der Vermieter ist immer erreichbar. Mit dem Auto 5 Minuten zum Supermarkt und Saint Lo. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit Tagesfahrten erreichbar. 6 Tage im Juli 2019 und wir haben zu viert nichts vermisst. Vielen Dank!

Prachtige en moderne gezinswoning, centraal gelegen in Normandië met goede verbindingen.
Ideale uitvalsbasis om de vele bezienswaardigheden in de regio te bezoeken. Gelegen in een rustige woonbuurt waar men ook op adem kan komen in een mooie tuin die voldoende privacy biedt. Warenhuizen zijn vlakbij en het nabijgelegen Saint-Lô heeft heel wat te bieden, ook op culinair vlak. Wij werden hartelijk verwelkomd met streekgebak en wijn door de vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. De woning is ruim, smaakvol en modern ingericht en is een voorbeeld op het vlak van netheid. Informaticamiddelen met internetverbinding zijn ter beschikking van de bezoekers. Een map met uitgebreide toeristische informatie heeft ons zeker op weg geholpen. Meer dan voldoende parkeergelegenheid op het perceel en op straat voor de deur. Ideaal voor gezinnen en grotere gezelschappen. Wij hebben genoten van een fijn verblijf en raden dit iedereen aan.

Very comfortable and spacious house with great garden and friendly owner!
We were there with 2 couples and 4 young children and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
The house included everything we needed to have a relaxed vacation. Big garden to play in, nice terras to have a drink, spacious rooms, fully equiped kitchen, near to a lot of nice places of intrest (Mont St Michel, D-day landing beaches, ...) and close to various shops and the city center of St Lo. The owner was very helpfull, friendly and correct.

Detached with spacious rooms in a lovely garden
A beautifully presented house in a quiet residential area. The 4 bedrooms were all good sizes with double beds. The lounge area was comfortable with open plan style lounge, kitchen anf diner. For self catering the kitchen was well equipped.

Clean, modern and central to attractions in Normandy
We were a family of four: my husband, myself and two teenaged sons. The length of our stay was 6 nights. The place was roomy, and each of us felt we had our own space. The house looks much better in real life than in the pictures. We were able to relax in this peaceful location. The house is located in Baudre, France, set in the countryside , yet minutes from Saint Lo (a major town which was rebuilt after World War 2). It had everything we needed, and more (i.e. Net flix, Wifi, large outside patio with dining area, and even a ping pong table). Gerard and his wife, Valerie, the hosts, were so helpful and gracious.
If you are thinking of touring Normandy, you may consider renting a car with a GPS because it was extremely helpful in our navigation around Normandy. We went to the Eglisle Notre-Dame in St. Lo, Bayeux Tapestry Museum, Juno Beach and Museum (D-Day beach), Abbyaye aux Hommes (where William the Conquerer is buried) & Abbaye aux Dames, the botanical garden in Caen, Jardin D'elle Villiers Fossard, Mont Saint-Michel, and the beach side town of Agon Coutainville. We had an delicious dinner at Bistro 59 in Saint-Lo.
We absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit Normandy.
