En bord de mer en vacances avec la piscine communautaire de Crown Point (Memorial Day-Labor Day) et le tennis, ainsi que des vues panoramiques depuis le salon en contrebas et le coin salon adjacent, on peut voir la rive depuis le nord près de Whalehead, jusqu'à Ocean Sands au sud. Une terrasse spacieuse permet de prendre le soleil le matin et l'après-midi. Il y a aussi une terrasse sur le toit avec une vue sur l'océan, parfaite pour regarder le jour ou chercher des étoiles la nuit. Le grand spa avec bain à remous offre même une vue sur l'océan.
Les 4 Master Suites sont confortables et privées. Une grande cuisine ouverte et bien équipée et un bar à manger jouxtent la salle à manger pouvant accueillir de 12 à 14 personnes. Le porche grillagé de la cuisine est agréable pour les conversations en soirée.

If you are looking for a house with great views of the beach, this may be your house. If you are looking for easy access to the beach, it may not be what you want. The photos of the house show an unobstructed path from the house to the beach; this was a primary reason I picked this house. Upon arrival we discovered a fence blocking the path, which meant access to the beach was via 67 steep stairs several houses away. My hope was to get up early and spend time on the beach with my 2-year-old granddaughter, but there was no way I could carry her up and down all those stairs. Shlepping the shade tents, chairs, and coolers down to the beach would have been a huge obstacle if we didn't have our kids to carry things for us. This changed the vibe of the whole trip and made trips to the beach more taxing than relaxing. We enjoyed the roof top deck at night, the kitchen was good, and the large table appreciated.

Our family enjoyed a fabulous week at Sandscape. Beautiful beach house with incredible views of the ocean, sunrise & sunsets. Lots to do in Corolla area, and the BEACH!! The house had lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, even a canopy to set up on the beach for some shade. We did have trouble with the dishwasher, but coaxed it along each day, hopefully got fixed for next guests.

Beach week
Love the house….Very well supplied..
Some Beds were not made as expected..Had to call for towel set since one was missing Outside shower area needs a good cleaning,
Only disappointment is the high walkway to beach..Not acceptable for elderly people or handicapped people..For this reason we will not be able to return to this lovely Oceanfront home..Evidently private walkways are not allowed in this community for ocean front homes

We loved the house. Reaching the realtors for service during our stay was difficult. We were provided only one set of towels for each master bedroom and it took two full days and multiple phone calls to get that corrected. Also, they insist on text messaging as the basic form of communication and our attempts at texting with them about any issues were frustrating.

The home was plenty large for 6 adults and 8 kids 7yrs and under.The home could use a deep clean, but it was 'clean enough' for a beach house.There are a few items that need attention (top beach side deck boards cause splinters, railing will be a danger if not shored-up in the next 12 months, etc.); but all-in-all the house was mechanically sound. The owner called during our stay and asked if there were any issues (which was nice); I told him about these issues and he said he would address them (and I believe him). This spring he has all the wood floors refinished and all new kitchen (granite) counters installed.The location of this home is ideal; it is two driveways away from the beach access boardwalk, and just outside the entrance road are all the stores (Food Lion) and restaurants/bars we required.

this home is gorgeous - beautiful views of the ocean and walking distance to beach access. very roomy as well. i would suggest a serious cleaning of the mold accumulating on all of the windows and doors, in addition to some stabilizing of the railings along the decks - they didn't feel as secure as they could be. and the wood on the floor of the decks need to be sanded and stained as they could easily offer splinters to unsuspecting bare feet. providing hand towels for the sinks would be helpful as well!

Experience was great. There were a few issues with the house/ property but we were able to work around them. The toilet in the downstairs bathroom leaks a small amount (clean water) when it is flushed.The deck at the community pool is rough and splintered with nail heads above grade. We had two splinters and a cut toe in two afternoons of swimming.

We stayed at Sandscape from 8/21 - 8/28/16. We had 5 adults (age 75, 36, 35, 32, 30) and 9 children (ages 17, 17, 11, 8, 6, 4, 4, 2, 1). This is our third time staying at Sandscape over the past 5 years. We had an AMAZING WEEK! The beach is beautiful and the house is always so warm and inviting. It truly feels like our home away from home. We love the beautiful views from the 3rd level with the wrap around windows. The beds are all very comfortable. No problems with bugs or critters. Outside showers are great for washing off when you get back from the beach. The owners have recently done some updates to the kitchen and flooring which were very nice. The only thing I would say can stand to be updated is the family room couch. While it's fairly comfortable, it has been there a while (all 3 times we have stayed), and the cushions have definitely seen better days. Kids and adults had fun playing pool on the ground level. GO STAY at Sandscape, you will love it!!!

Management co. and home away both sold me insurance.I thought only one or the other should sell for the same property. I had to cancel one. The door from kitchen to the outside porch deck would not lock properly. Also the door from the 3rd floor master bed room to the deck would not shut or lock properly. Most of the property was in generally good condition. Good location, was clean and property management got us into the property on time, without a hitch.

The home was spacious and was very well stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation. The property is well maintained, although we had to ask the cleaning crew to return since they missed some things. The manager was very responsive to returning to make things right. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Since this was during the pandemic and there were 5 children 5 and under, we stayed in and didn't really take advantage of any other attractions. Sadly the pool was closed due to the pandemic but we had a fabulous time.

This vacation home was everything I hoped for. It was immaculate, easy reach of the beach and walk to two shopping centers, lots of room for parking. The views from the main living area (top floor) were fantastic and provided a bright atmosphere. The open concept floor plan allowed different groups to do different activities without being completely separate. Location of most of the bedrooms on the second floor is a great design, allowing those who wish to retire early to do so, and offering those early risers the ability to use the kitchen and take advantage of the great views. There was a nice selection of games and puzzles, and the dining table accommodated our crowd of 12 easily. Lots of bedding and hangers provided. KittyHawk Rentals was very responsive to any requests/inquiries we made. A big thank you to the owners for accommodating our group. It was truly a dream come true!

Overall the house was very nice. Updated and well stocked kitchen, good layout, TONS of deck space, and overall the house had a lot to offer. Biggest issue was indirect beach access. Kinda defeats the purpose of being on the beach. This was counteracted by the top deck view. The bathroom mats were nasty and obviously hadn't been cleaned. When we went to clean them, there was a thick layer of sand that hadn't been cleaned. Also the listing indicates that there is a grill and ice maker on site. The grill is pretty much useless and nasty. We had to rent a grill for our needs. Also the "ice maker" is just a normal fridge ice maker. So not enough to fill up a cooler. The location is solid. Lots available in the area and the local food lion is actually pretty darn good. Being able to walk up the beach to the grocery store for a last minute item was very nice. The first floor game room was extremely nice. We used it more for storage but it was nice not to have to lug heavy coolers up and down the stairs. The hot tub was most excellent. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well stocked with dishware as well as cookware, a rarity for rentals. Also they have large platters and pots to accommodate a crowd. The dish washer is extremely small, so expect to wash dishes, pretty much after every major meal. We only ate out once during our entire week, so we ran the kitchen pretty hard so having a good kitchen was a huge benefit. Overall a good house. We are looking at reserving it again for next year.

We enjoyed the rental, it's location was unbeatable. There were a few things that could be improved...the BBQ was unusable and there was a lot trash/debris littered about the carport/backyard area.

The view was amazing and the main living space was very comfortable. It was nice to have such a large dining room table even though there was only 5 of us. It gave a plenty of surfaces to do puzzles, eat dinner and other activities without being in the way of anyone. The only complaint I have is that the home needs to update its furnishings. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. Also, there was wicker furniture in the sun room area that was so uncomfortable we were stacking cushions in order to sit on anything. What a waste of a beautiful room. If the beds and wicker were replaced with more comfortable furnishings, we would never consider anyplace else for our stay

Good overall experience. Bed quality was good. Needed a couple more good chairs in living room. Excellent pots, pans and dishes in kitchen. Charcoal grill was poor and insufficient. Should have had a gas grill. House was clean and furniture in good shape. Excellent response from Beach Realty when AC did not work. Pleasant experience working with Beach Realty. Clean beach and good acess. Too far north from some main OBX activities.

Sandscape was a truly wonderful experience. We stayed during the last week of August, 2018 with 8 adults and 5 young children. The accommodations were great for our extended family. For the most part, everything was in working order (except one coffee pot and a seal on the dishwasher that caused a problem once), the dishware and utensils were fully stocked, and the place was clean. The views are spectacular from the third floor and crow's nest with more than 180 degrees of visibility. In the back of the car port, there is a shaded sandy area where the kids played for hours and the beach was only a couple hundred feet walk from the house.
The only thing that was a little drawback is one of the adult couples had to sleep in a bunk room.
