People make any place truly beautiful. The owners of this hotel care so much about your comfort and cleanliness that very quickly you will feel at home here, where it is always clean, safe, cozy and harmonious. Always a clean pool, delicious breakfasts and attention to each guest as a family member. This is the place where you want to stay not only because of the ocean view, although the ocean view here is truly magical too!

6) Amazing location on the beach, you can see turtles swimming from your window and you’re 5mn away by bus (bus stops in front of the hotel every 5-10mn maximum) from Unuwatuna city center / beach / tourist center
7) Very nice Sri Lankan food (I’ve not tried the Western dishes on the menu), I’ve tried the restaurants around the hotel on the beach and the food was not as nice

Good hotel right on the beach. And this beach is the best one around. You can just stay under the trees close to the ocean and do nothing like if you are in Malidives.
The ocean view from the balcony is amazing and you have enough privacy chilling there with a glass of drink.

The highlight of the hotel is the beach view and the the turtles nibbling on the rocks in front of the hotel. The hotel provides sun lounging and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was really spacious. While in high tide you cannot really swim just in front of it, but ten meters to left there is a perfectly calm spot to swim and snorkel with fish and turtles. Beach bars are also nearby.
The hotel seems a bit dated and would need a refurbishment - perhaps it’s Covid’s footprint. The breakfast is also not very impressive compared to what we have seen in the Sri Lanka. Nevertheless, the turtles next door definitely make up for it. Other dining options are also a bit further away.

The staff care for the local nature, which I think is brilliant and they should be rewarded. Plan a stay here it's like opening the curtains to paradise every morning.

Room size was good with a nice view of the beach.
Enough deckchairs for the beach. The beach itself is ok for a dip, but not for swimming. There are sea turtles which was great to see and swim with. Also some sea snakes which are harmless.
The hotel itself is extremely dated...and needs considerably more attention, even if just a coat of paint and cleaning the windows.
Somewhat soulless foyer and weird pool setup (kind of indoors).

Nawshad at front desk was fantastic. Greeted us as we arrived by car and was extra helpful and polite throughout our stay and we were able to check in early.
Bed was really comfy, great view.

Breakfast was very limited. WiFI was poor and air con was noisy. Hotel decor is tired. would have been nice if there was a bar selling drinks and coffees.
The sun lounger area was mostly shaded.Great if you want shade but not if you want sun.

Many thanks to the staff. They are very friendly, helpful and they are very caring. All rooms are with very beautiful ocean view. Facility needs some renovation. The beach was not the most beautiful.

The rooms are spacious and with a wonderful view. Double glazing helps to avoid any occasional noise from outside. Staff is very helpful and flexible. Location is just wonderful as there is a beach nearby surrounded by a reef that allows you to encounter with a lot of fish and even turtles.
The hotel is in about 2 km from the centre with all the restaurants and shops but I found it for myself more of an advantage even

The hotel is clean and staff is overwhelmingly hospitable. The scenic frog rock is just at the corner. Huge beach and the sea is good for kids to swim.
We liked everything about them. That's why we went as repeat customers.
