Lovely stay and space!

Beautiful house for our family gathering with a buoy tub you can sink into. Great stay!

The place was great; however, the locks don’t work well. It didn’t seem safe that all doors upstairs weren’t able to lock. It’s also been several days after our stay, and I have yet to receive any communication as to when I should expect my refundable damage deposit. This is a bit frustrating. The communication was great up until the stay, but then after the stay I haven’t heard a word.

This home met our expectations! So much space, clean, beautiful location! The kids loved being able to just go out back and sled or play in all the snow! Kitchen was great for entertaining and being with everyone! I absolutely would recommend and can’t wait to go back

This house was a great place to stay for our group of friends visiting Truckee for wedding! It is a massive house, so there is plenty of room for a big group. We enjoyed the location and access to downtown Truckee and everything we needed. Most of the rooms also have a bathroom which is nice for our age adults (30+) that like some of their own space. The only thing is there are a few small things that were a little finicky, like some of the locks but other than that the home was great for us. Thank you!

The house is large and can fit a large family easily. Be aware that a lot of the amenities listed require a guest pass and that pass is only for 4 people. The house has 2 passes that it is good for 8 people (this is not listed in the original listing). When we arrived the passes were gone (accidentally taken by the last renter). I reach out to the contact for the house and after no response from them for 2 hours I reached out again and was finally told that I need to go pick up the replacement passes (after wasting half of a day waiting for them). The communication is not good and that part of the trip was disappointing.

I had a phenomenal time! Large cabin with many rooms and all very nice clean 5 star bathrooms and large jacuzzi tubs, jacuzzi on deck and steam room shower. Amazing entertaining kitchen and fire place living area with wrap around decks and views. Will stay again ;) every guest has a blast! They also have surround sound speakers and games to play. Overall amazing experience. We all stayed for a friends wedding nearby and had a good time. Beds were very comfortable as well.

Grill, 3 decks, jacuzzi tubs & large showers with multiple settings. The only thing I would note is there is no access to the hot-tub through any other room except the master. Overall beautiful architecture and very clean. We were quite happy with our stay.

This house was absolutely everything we hoped for. It was large, spacious, clean and equipped with everything you needed.The only thing missing was a meat thermometer for all you steak lovers out there. Or at least we couldn’t find one.There’s enough room around the property for kids to have fun on sleds and play in the snow.This is definitely a home we would return to.

The property is beautiful and spacious. I was very impressed with how fully stocked the kitchen was with eveything (except spices, which was expected ). Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, drinkware and utensils. I bought my own nice expecting those provided to be full, and they were. I was surprised that there was not a larger or second fridge. We barely had enough fridge space for two days to feed 20. It would has been nice to have a secondary fridge in the garage. The garbage was a pull out drawl and was broken. We pulled it out and the entire drawl fell off track and was impossible to put back on. I also loved that there was a drawl full of kitchen towels. The place is large and had great space for large group gathering. There was a TV but.of the 3 rmotes worked to control it, so we ended up not using it. There is WiFi but the connection was not great, it kept cutting in and out when we tried to stream movies and music. Our major concern of the place was the sound. For those staying on the first floor, any noise from the second floor great room was noticeable. Even the tiniest steps which made it hard for those who wanted to stay up and those who where sleeping below. The noise was also very noticable from room to room. You could hear the people in the next room very audibly. The other concern was the toilets, they are low flow and very hard to flush anything. It also sometimes took a long time to refil the tank for the second flush. We also somehow ran ot of hot water. The first person to run the shower in the morning waited 10 minutes and had nothing but a luke warm temperature. The kitchen sink had hot water but some reason the shower did not after the second night. The first night and second day was fine but after that we couldn't not get any hot water in any of the showers. Beside these few things, we had an amazing time and really enjoyed the accommodation.

Our family of 7 adults and 7 children stayed here for a week at new years...with one husband leaving after 3 nights to return to work. There were ample beds for all of us. The dishwasher broke the day after we arrived and Elle sent Ben over the next day and he replaced the dishwasher the following day. We were all very impressed with the prompt service!! We noted the past comments about the refrigerator not being cold enough and noticed that the door very often does not shut properly. If the bolts on the floor at the front were raised, the door would tend to shut by itself. Stocking the refrigerator with a lot of food also lowered the temperature considerably so it may be best to just buy food daily. (A nice solution would be to have a second refrigerator in the garage as some large homes do.)There were sample size shampoos, conditioners and bar soaps as well as hand pump soaps in all bathrooms. Bring kleenex, saran wrap, tin foil, napkins and liquid body soap. There was a plastic table cloth in a cabinet which was great with young children so you don’t have to wash the cloth one on the table. The children went out to the back to build a snowman and sled, and the back neighbor told them not to trespass on other people’s property so it would be nice to know where the property line ends. They indicated it was at the trees at the bottom of the slope which didn’t give much of an incline to sled, so the children never went to the backyard again. There was one washer and two dryers which really was nice! The wifi is weak and slow if husbands have work to do and Ben said this is typical in the mountains. The crib mattress sheet was missing so bring one...sort of a pack and play size sheet. Heating and available hot water was perfect!

Our property manager made things very easy, was quick to respond to inquiries (there are both types of coffee makers) and (we're having a Thanksgiving meal while there, enough serving options available?) and there were... Great location; worth a very short drive to the East end of Donner Lake where there is quick easy access to the beach. It was Saturday afternoon at 1:30, we were the only people on a long, wonderful beach. Skipping rocks, lots of photos, beautiful weather. The Tahoe Donner Club House pool (where guests can visit w a pass card provided inside the front door) was hosting a dogs only swim day that was fun to watch, while the kids played on the playground. The house was spacious, all of the amenities of home. 3 outside decks, the hot tub was a hit.. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful home with an interesting history (Burning Man honored, beautifully done throughout) You won't be disappointed.
