The rooms was super clean and cosy with lovely views, the breakfast has made with love but above all the hosts were lovely!

We loved our stay at acqua beach. Everything was as expected! Lovely lovely place and staff. Would very much recommend to family and friends!

Mandy was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, room was very large with a lovely seaview and a comfy bed. Breakfast was good apart from the eggs were overcooked but that was my only criticism

There was no parking at the Acqua beach but we knew that before we arrived and we parked at the train station at a good rate

Mandy is so friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was nice & tasty thanks Richard with plenty other choices available. The room was clean & comfortable. I will return again & recommend to family & friends.

Lovely sea view, quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. The new owners Mandy and Richard and their staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The only negative thing I would say is I think it’s a very early checkout but other than that it was perfect.

i stayed here for one night and it was amazing! the welcome I got from Mandy was so warm and welcome, she made me feel right at home even though it was for a short stay. she was amazing and so accommodating, the room was immaculate and clean and the bed was so comfortable I slept for 13 hours! I will most definitely be back to stay here and visit.

How friendly staff was

The location was perfect for us. The hosts at the BB (Mandy and her partner) were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. Mandy upgraded our room because she found out we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. She informed us they were going to refurbish the property in stages, and she would send us updates. Breakfast was fine. Plenty to eat. We were told we could help ourselves to bottles of water from the bar (we did). We were close to the sea, shops and restaurants.

The lighting in the en-suite was not bright enough. The shower cubicle was tiny. The curtains were difficult to close because it hooked over the joining part.

Mandy met me on arrival very polite and understanding met Richard later on that day as well breakfast was fab lots of different food to choice from

Unfortunately the room was very dark I spoke to Richard over the phone with problem I had and met Richard and mandy came and dought with it witch I was very grateful ps they have only been there 8 weeks so just getting stuff sorted I really hope they do well and when I return it be a lot brighter and other stuff been sorted out by then

Friendly host; beautiful sea view; lovely to fall asleep listening to the waves lapping the shore; nice fresh bedding; room nice and quiet

Cooked breakfast very disappointing - congealed and poor quality; lino peeling off the bathroom floor by the shower; light fitting coming away from the ceiling (over the bed); wifi intermittent; shower too hot one day and had to wait for water to appear the next, and no water from bathroom tap (plumbing needs looked at)

Mandy was so welcoming and understanding about our special need daughter, checkout time was 11am but she let us take our time,we had 2 rooms next to each other which was a bonus sometimes in hotels you do not get that, either in the same floor but not next door to each other. The property is just right at the beach front so you can open the window and sit at the little balcony which we did on that night as there was firework display. The bed's were comfy,the shower was great,the room is spacious and we had breakfast served in our two rooms.

Black out and noise control curtains would be great if possible, put abit of modern and not vintage furniture would make the room more beautiful

Mandy and Richard were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The have only just purchased the property and lots needs to be done to bring it up to there standards. I have every confidence this will be done and will certainly book a stay next year.

The beds were singles which we requested but very small more suitable for children. Mandy tried to change the room but it wasn't possible as she had to honour bookings made by the previous owners. I'm sure this problem will be solved in the refurb.

The staff was very nice. We slept well and breakfast was nice. Would stay there again.
