Perfectly located , in the middle of the fish market however away from the crowd. Amazing yard with lovely live music! I suggest people to stay on a rainy day , you can hear the raindrops while having a sip from your drink , absolutely amazing

Fantastic location entering right in to the bazaar. The rooms surround a courtyard with a restaurant and bar. The live music at night can be a bit noisy but shuts down promptly at 2300. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff fantastic. We had a great stay.

Just be aware of the evening music

I haven't stayed in such a beautiful concept hotel for a long time. Great architecture, great rooms, great restaurant and very friendly staff. It will be the only hotel I will stay in Izmir from now on. Just perfect i luvit.

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Service ist bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, insbesondere hat Herr Serkan abends im Restaurant uns tolles Essen serviert. Live Musik am Abend mit guten Weinen und Essen kann man gut genießen.

Die Lage mitten im Basar ist gut, auch das Frühstück im alten Gemäuer eines Innenhofes hat was. Wer abendliche Live-Musik mag, wird gut bedient.

Es ist eigentlich kein Hotel, sondern ein Musiklokal. Im ersten Stock über einem bewirtschafteten Innenhof werden Zimmer angeboten, mit Fenstern und Türen zum Hof. Das Programm mit lauter Musik geht jeden Tag von 12 Uhr bis 24 Uhr und die Türen und Fenster sind kaum schallisoliert. Ich habe eine andere Vorstellung von einem Hotel und erwarte Rückzugsmöglichkeiten in den Zimmern.

Beautiful, traditional architecture, and a great location. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! It was immediately next-door to an old market, which was still quite busy and lively. It was also conveniently located to the Ancient Smyrna site.

I wish I had known that they have live music in the courtyard until 11 PM every evening. Every room faces the courtyard and so the music was quite loud in our room until 11. The music was beautiful and in other circumstances I would’ve enjoyed it! But we had just arrived after traveling all night long, and so we were desperately wanting sleep.

Очень отзывчивый персонал, говорят на английском, что не так часто встретишь в этой части Турции. Чистый номер, пусть и небольшой, есть все принадлежности, ежедневная уборка. Внутри отеля очень красивый и уютный двор. Вечером живая музыка, будьте аккуратны, тк это громко. Рекомендую ужинать у них в ресторане, нам вся еда понравилась, порции большие и цена приемлемая.

Clean rooms and very comfortable beds.

Parking on the facility was not possible, the live playing music went on far to long and loud till 11 pm and breakfast was poor.

The lobby is so beautiful, bringing you back to the old town bazaar of Izmir. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. We arrived in the wee hours at 4am of our check in day, the staff still provided us with a room to rest

This hotel is really nice with a cute personnel , young dynamic client friendly … this place was exceptional in terms of atmosphere, quality of foods, live music , quality of bed, bedroom, bathroom !!! The kind of place you like to discover by surprise near the Izmir bazaar and the seaside !!

All was awesome! the location of the hotel is excellent to enjoy a holiday, the food was very tasty and all the team were very nice with us going to little attention to make us comfortable during the whole stay. A special thanks to the hotel reception team who took the time to make our stay joyful and wonderful !

All was perfect for us !

Beautiful oasis in the middle of a market. We stayed in Room 114 and despite the previous negative reviews about the smells of the fishmarket we never noticed it and we were staying directly above it. Staff were excellent and attentive. Place was better than the pictures show. All rooms have seating on the balcony to watch the live music at night if you can't or don't want to be seated downstairs. Cakes, beers and colds drinks were all good as were the pizzas and all reasonably priced. This seems to be the place to celebrate special occasions for the locals as there were at least one party each night.

No safe in the room and fridge was in need of a deep clean. Shower could also have been hotter but that's a personal preference. It is a noisy hotel with the restaurant in the courtyard directly outside the bedrooms and the market surrounding the exterior. Didn't affect us however if you like to sleep during the day or are looking for somewhere to meditate it might not be for you.

The historic building is really cool (the umbrella!) and we liked walking out the doors into the bazaar (and to the juice shop directly opposite!). Our rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is nice for drinks and dessert, and fine for food.

We had two rooms and neither had real hot water or proper air-conditioning during our stay. The water was lukewarm and the AC only cooled the rooms a bit, which was unfortunate as it was 40° Celsius outside. We didn’t know the restaurant had live music until 23:00 nightly - if you have an early flight out it’s something to consider. It was by far the smallest and least-appealing (flies, empty dishes, etc.) breakfast buffet of anywhere we stayed in Turkey; it did not reflect the quality of the hotel experience they are attempting to project.

The most unique and charming location and accommodations. Wonderful rooms set above the vibrant inner courtyard. Just beyond is the labyrinthian marketplace and the incredible sights of the city of Izmir. The staff went out of their way to be helpful in every way. They got us extra bottles of water, served a lovely breakfast in the courtyard, and even packed sandwiches for us when we left before breakfast on our departure! Turkey’s famous hospitality is alive and well at this special destination!

Warm and friendly staffs who speak relatively good English that ease communication. The hotel itself is unique being a caravanserai that gives totally different vibes fr other hotel. The location is just steps away from.the old bazzaar for fascinating and unique experience for shopping and dining amongst the local

As music is playing at the courtyard till late and room is not soundproof, it may not be preferred by light sleepers or those with kids. But personally for me it is of no issue as solo traveller 😀

Almost everything! Our rooms were great and communication with staff was good. They were very friendly. We especially appreciate everything that Turker helped us with, always available with a smile. Location next to bazaar great.

The bathrooms did not smell good. On voting day, we were practically alone in the hotel. We would have liked if someone warned us in advance.

No parking or swimpool

Location is perfect. The hotel is found right in the center of Izmir's old city. The hotel is close to numerous dining options and historical sites. Within a 15 to 20 minute walk, we had easy access to each of them. We requested a Turkish coffee with cake the day of our arrival, but when we wanted to pay for it, they refused and said they were giving it to us as a present instead which was a great surprise. Because we couldn't eat breakfast before our early morning return trip, we had to check out of the hotel at 5 a.m. We received an extremely tasty sandwich from them. Customer service in this hotel was beyond our expectations. All of the staff are so lovely and polite The food in the restaurant was absolutely perfect and also live music was great We'll surely return.

Belongings for 700€ stolen by housekeeping who admitted the crime. After police came management became aggressive against us! Spent whole day at the police station... WORST HOTEL EVER. In my opinion hotel staff is stealing together
