Great location in a quiet, charming village. Very comfy bed, the room stayed cool after a very hot day thanks to the shutters. Nice bathroom, friendly and accomodating host, overall great value. Everything you need is there, even a fan for warmer weather. We asked for an extra bed for your little daughter and got extra bedding for the foldable chair. We were welcomed with a delicious kougelhopf on arrival :) Highly recommended!

It's a quiet village but the kitchen window is just by the road - it's not a busy road but the cars can be a tad noisy if you're a light sleeper and with the windows open. With the window closed, however, no problem at all. You can even close the door between the kitchen and bedroom for even more silence. And there is a roof window in the bathroom (next to the bedroom) that brings in cold air in warm weather so even with the front window closed you still get fresh air :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Scherwiller. The host was very kind and helpful. The apartment was very nice and fairly quiet, despite being located right next to a road. The bathroom was wonderful and the kitchen (with four hobs) was very well equipped. I enjoyed cooking there, but also really enjoyed the restaurant recommended by the host (La Couronne), which is within easy walking distance. Scherwiller itself is not terribly interesting, but makes a great place from which to explore the southern Alsace if you have your own wheels.

The only reason why I'm not giving this place a 9 out of 10 is because the Wi-Fi wasn't very good. It worked reasonably well in the bedroom, but not at all in the kitchen. Given that I was planning to work at the kitchen table, that was a bit of a setback. I ended up having to do a fair bit of my work in bed, which wasn't ideal. Other than that, though, I really enjoyed the apartment.

The host was very nice and available, but not too present. He put away feather blankets because of my allergy. We enjoyed everything.

Location is good, in the small village with a lot of wine shops in the middle of Alsace. The owner is very kind. A lot of place. Coffeemaker etc.

Internet is unstable

Fantastic location, a mid point between Strasbourgh and Colmar. Duplex apartment with all facilities needed. Easy to reach, easy to enter/exit highway A35. Hosts are very nice, we did not expect such a worm welcome.

Highly recommended. Perfect location close to all beautiful villages in Alsace area (Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauville). House is very spacious with 2 floors and has fully equipped kitchen. Space for parking of card inside house. Cake as welcome present. Father of the owner is kind and pleasant person who will help you with all your questions and wishes.

If you have open the windows during night, there is traffic noise due to detour (starting around 6AM in the morning)
