Bachhaus was clean, quiet, and located for optimal sight seeing. The staff are helpful. The breakfasts are a buffet that offers something for everyone’s tastes. The price is excellent for the stay.

It`s well situated and comfortable hotel (the comfort is somewhat disrupted by the roadwork in front of the hotel). I liked carpeted floor and sockets near the bed. Furniture and bathroom were good. Breakfast was plentiful in terms of cold variations, but just scrambled eggs and boiled eggs as warm food. A bit surprising for me, but it`s really good idea with ordering specific amount of bread. Good wifi (I`ve experienced no problems with it, though I`ve read about them on the site). Ten to fifteen minutes from the train station and close to the museums.
Apart from the roadwork, nothing substantial.

The bed was excellent, the breakfast likewise. The location was perfect my purposes studying the lives of Bach and Luther.
The wiFi was barely working for the three nights I was there. I had to leave the hotel to gain access elsewhere. A better table for working at would have been appreciated, but was not a deal breaker.

good basic room. breakfast was typical for German breakfasts and was plentiful. Location about a 15 minute walk from the main train station through the old town. I enjoyed walking through the old town and finding all of them major sites as well as just seeing the old buildings. And of course the trip to Wartburg was fabulous. I easily caught a bus very close to the hotel that took me up the hill.
I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and as they had let me know there was no one at reception so I had to let myself in. I had a very difficult time getting the door to unlock and tried to call the number they had provided me but no one answered. I dial the number several times over the space of an hour. Finally I was able to get the door to unlock but certainly didn’t feel welcome after this.

Friendly staff and breakfast
I got locked out because I stepped outside and didn't know i needed a key to get back in. I should have been informed because it was only 7pm.
