Wonderful place situated in a real Gambian village. Just a short 15 minute walk to a beautiful Paradise beach. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming German lady Renate. We spent 2 evenings having dinners together, drinking traditional green tea by the fire which Renate special arranged for me, and having nice conversations in English about the life in Gambia. Renate lives on the premises together with local Gambian family which are very friendly and have cute kids. My bungalow was very comfortable and i have not seen any mosquito inside of it.

I was only missing Wifi, but it is so easy and better to buy your own simcard in Gambia.

It was a cool place, but the owner was always around, and as she spoke very poor English it felt difficult.

Fantastic place in the middle of typical Gambian village,few minutes by foot to beautiful Paradise Beach. Easy access to different places in Gambia by very cheap bush taxis /main road crossing the village/. Good breakfasts and possibility to order lunch and dinner. Beautiful,simple,african style bungalows in a big garden. The lodge is managed by very nice German owner Renate,so you can expect good service and a lot of necessary information about Gambia. Very good possibility to see real Gambian life as you live in the village together with Gambian family and its children. Not for "all inclusive hotel" type guests but for real tourists seeking real Africa experience.

The lodge is situated in a wonderful garden! Only 15 min walk from the best beach! Quiet paradise! The village is super Nice!

The options dinner is expensive for gambian standard!
