Can't wait to go back there next year. My daughter is absolutely in love with this place. Good place to be, good breakfast, good beach, good memories.

No fridge in the room.

Excellent breakfast with ample of choice. The room was surprisingly quiet. The way the luggage transport to the ferry was handled was very efficient and convenient.

When I arrived at the hotel my room was very warm (31°C). Since there was no airco available in the room it was very difficult to get rid of the excess heat, in spite of the much lower outside temperature.

great location but hotel has lost its glory and needs an overall refreshment for todays travellers needs. for example, the coffee machine (nespresso) lacked the waste bucket so all coffee drainage was spilled over the shelf. There were no spare sockets in the bedrooms so for your phone to charge you need to unplug the light.

Great location.

The concept is focused on maximum room occupancy against minimum operational costs. It is a money-making machine rather than a place of hospitality. Indifferent staff (seasonal workers from Asia and Eastern Europe), dirty and sticky restaurant furniture, and since 1993 not much has been renovated or updated. The place has no soul.

The room and the attentiveness of the personel

That the restaurant was already completely booked at the day I arrived. I had expected it to be possible for guests to eat in the restaurant without a reservation.

Room rather worn, needs a refurbishment. Difficult to book any of the facilities, mostly due to COVID restrictions.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach, on top of the first dune. We were not in the main building, but the one across the road and that really lacked atmosphere. The room was spacious, but basic and lacked a bathtub. Good breakfast and a nice pool. The beach restaurant is also great and right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is already quite expensive (220 euros for a room per night) for what it offers and you also have to pay extra to use the sauna/spa services. What was really dissapointing is that we could not have breakfast on the sun terrace overlooking the beach. The reason for this was that the staff would then have to clean it afterwards. I found that unacceptable.

The location is perfect at the beach. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The room is large. We had dinner at the beach club in front of the hotel (Badhuys Vlieland), which was very nice! Good atmosphere and good food.

The hotel in general is outdated. Therefore the ambience or atmosphere is not great. But if you consider your stay just for a place to sleep, it will do.

Just in front of the beach with nice restaurant downstairs. You step out and you are already on beach. the bus stops right in front of the hotel and they arrange the luggage transportations.

Swimming pool was ok, due to corona we had to reserve. Wellness centre we couldn't use as it was fully booked due to corona regulations.

The room was very disappointing, Room 455 family suite. For a 4 star hotel the room was very dated in decoration and the quality of the furniture was very poor. Cupboard doors were falling off, carpet was stained and ripped. The slats under the bunk bed were not fitting correctly so no sure how safe it was if someone was sleeping up there. Only one plug to use for charging phones was in the lounge, no USB points. No plugs in any of the bedrooms. Behind the bed it was very dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Sockets on the walls were not straight and looked very untidy. Some lights didn't work. The shower drain didn't work properly so water overflowed into the bathroom. The plug in the bath also didn't work. Telephone in the room was from the 90s, the wire on the phone looked like it had been stretched too many times. Ceiling tiles were not Generally the room hadn't been decorated since the early 90s and it looked very worn and outdated. This was very disappointing for us and would not rate this hotel 4 star for that reason.

Poor breakfast service, every day: missing items, missing plate, too full plates that were impossible to bring to the room. Doorbell annoyance by kids that are bored and ring it. Personal that isn't trained in hospitality
