We had a wonderful stay in Ai Tetrazzini. It is right in the centre of the old town. Our room had a private balcony, the view from there was breathtaking. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night.

Amazing location right in the heart of everything. A small but fabulous private terrace with an amazing view. Two large double rooms with direct access onto the central terrace where we could order pre-dinner drinks from the friendly staff. The breakfast was great, lots to choose from and the waitress remembered our coffee order from the first day throughout our stay.

We sometimes had to wait at reception quite a while.

Big and clean rooms. The design was simple but allowed for a classic Matera experience. Christina was extremely helpful during our stay. she helped organized car park, porters for our luggage and an Ape tour.

The building is very original, constructed in the calcariam rocks of Matera. very comfortable room and amazing breakfast. The location is also great, right in the historical center.

A very nice experience, this b&b is located in the Sassi of Matera. Very quiet, peaceful, picturesque area of this beautiful city. It was a priviledge to wake up and open the door to the terrace to find yourself immersed in this historical location. Ours was a family room, it was very clean, very nicely decorated with tasteful terracotta tiles. There was a choice of sweet, savoury items for breakfast as well as fruit and yoghurt. We couldn't have asked for more.

This hotel was what we looked for. The staff especially Tina were very welcoming and always helpful. The rooms and common areas were always clean and the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is very comfortable since it is in the sassi and it does not have many steps to reach it. We will definitely stay at this hotel if we visit Matera again.

Very nice place, great location in Sasso Barisano, exceptional interior and surrounding. Spacious comfortable room with stunning view from terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Francesca and Tina took great care of us and made sure we felt good there :) I absolutely recommend the place. Regarding parking - we used Damasco option which we also recommend - just 10 min walk from Al Terrazini, comfortable and friendly.

The location of this hotel was amazing, and the view from the front terrace was stunning. Annamarie was our main contact on the staff, and she went above and beyond to help us with parking and restaurant recommendations, and she also making us feel welcome. Our room was also perfect. If you go to Matera, this is the place to stay!

This hotel is perfect. It's in a quiet but central location. Our room was huge with a nice patio and very atmospheric. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and full of local specialties.

This was our second stay at Ai Terrazzini and it didn't disapoint! We stayed in a "cave" (in quotes because it feels nothing like a cave!) which was 2 bedrooms + bath, perfect for traveling with my elderly mother. Everything was clean, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. Location is excellent, right in the heart of the Sassi. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of home-baked goods and local specialities. We arrived quite late and staff was terriffic, not only arranging to have someone wait up for us at the property but they also helped arrange for the garage to stay open specifically for us. Overall, staff were true highlight, so kind and couldn't do enough to help ensure our stay was both comfortable and memorable. Highest recommendation!

Nothing could have been better, it was really perfect! First-time visitors should know that the Sassi is a pedestrian-only area so you will need to leave your car outside the zone. Ai Terrazzini helped us to organize a reasonably-priced parking garage that drove us straight to the front door; necessary with luggage and an elderly parent (!)

Everything was fine, good location, big and clean room, very kind staff. Breakfast was very good, nice variety of salty and sweet food. They also provided gluten-free options and they managed to let us have breakfast 30 min before standard time beacuse we had to leave early in the morning. Higly recommended for a pleasant stay in Matera!
