Outstanding staff!! Beautiful location, central, perfect for what we were looking for. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the reception and bar staff. I'll elaborate later in this review. Castellammare di Stabia is less of a touristy area, something we prefer. It felt like real Italy. The surrounding area isn't 5 star however the hotel is in my opinion. I could have easily spent a week here no problem! All of the facilities are first class providing a wonderful stay. Wish I had longer there.

The beach isn't the big attraction there, so don't have big expectations. The main promenade is right there and is a fun area to sit and people watch. I loved watching the families out and about on a late Sunday evening.
My dad and I spent longer at Pompeii than we intended (this was our checkout day). The hotel allowed us to store our luggage for the day in a safe area behind the desk. (a separate room). We were too late arriving back to take the SITA bus to Praiano, so they made phone calls for us to arrange a taxi, the same one we used to get there (Travelex). We needed to stay another couple hours until our driver could come. The hotel staff made us feel safe and welcome and didn't rush us out the door. They kept our luggage while we went out for dinner. We also enjoyed a glass of wine in the lounge area overlooking the beach. We ended up leaving at 7:30 pm. I think the guy's name was Luigi? Anyways, bravo to all of you who worked that evening! I hope to visit again.
Only downside is the distance to the train station. Approximately 1km. Stairs to climb at station if you have luggage. Strongly advise taking a taxi from Naples. Train itself is really dodgy. The same Pickpocketer stalked my dad going to and from Pompeii so you wouldn't want to have luggage as a giveaway that you have all of your belongings on you. Nothing happened to us because I let this clown know I was watching him.

Great sized rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was a good size and clean plus we enjoyed a nice meal on the Terrace at night overlooking the sea - a lovely hotel but not a bonus being on the beach.
Beach - lots of rubbish washing up, saw a clean up team but job seemed too much.

The hotel is stylish and well appointed. We had a beautiful room with a sea view and balcony. All the staff are helpful and cheerful . Lovely swimming pool and no problems securing a bed .
The bar snack selection is limited and average quality. There are numerous restaurants close by so this wasn’t an issue for us .

Very nice room, very large room and bathroom, clean, excellent condition, large balcony with sun beds (we had the junior suite for 2 adults, 2 children). Super comfortable beds, which was the first time we slept well on our 3-week Italy trip.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Pietro who nearly killed himself to organise us boat trips, restaurants, parking garage, fans for our room, and other requests we had. Raphael, the hotel manager, tried his best to even find us a new hotel after the air con broke down. He also gave us a large discount on the room to make us stay.
Views very stunning, location convenient, parking 150m away wasn’t much of a problem, and it was secure.

Unfortunately, during our stay, the air con was broken for the whole hotel and it was 36 degrees outside every day. We slept in sweltering heat, mitigated slightly by the fans they supplied. The staff did their best to make our stay a little better. Everyone complained and they were clearly in a difficult position.
The elevator broke down on our last day, and we were on the 6th floor.
The carpet in the elevator was spectacularly dirty and smelly. I gagged heavily as it smelled rotten like a wet dog. We all held our noses shut every time.
The breakfast was very basic for the 15 Euros p.P. we paid. Fruit juices seemed watered down, and there weren’t many choices. No cream cheese, Swiss cheese, Brie or proper eggs. Too many pastries, but that’s common in Italy.
Overall though it was a very nice hotel.

Air con was faulty, no beach access and recommended by hotel not to go into sea given dirtiness / bacteria present.

There was a party on the 7th floor with very loud music and the acoustic insulation was insufficient to allow a good night sleep.

View was amazing - literally facing the sea. I would suggest this hotel to everyone. Worth it in terms of money if you look something quite and clean.
I suggest you to sleep with open windows.. u ll hear the Sea's wave.

View and terrace on 6th floor lovely. Gin and tonics excellent.
Noise from party on 7th floor prevented use of room until after midnight first night. Guests on 7th floor flicked cigarette butts on to our terrace. Whole hotel smelt of smoke. No help with bags to room. Incorrect information re breakfast times. Parking 150m away down dangerously steep slope.

We liked the location and the beautiful terras, clean hotel!
The rooms are very noisy, there are some very nice parties but you should know this in advance.. there are some extra cost to the additional service which is not clear for example you have to pay for the swimming pool an extra 10 euro per person per day..
