None of the 3 days they had hogao. Which is a basic for a Colombian place to have, also only one day they had tamales for breakfast, which is the speciality of the region so it’s a pitty you can’t easily get the tipical dishes in such hotel. Drinks take a bit long to arrive. Also for the price they should have a pool available or if it’s the jacuzzi it shouldn’t be for payment, it should be included like in hotels of this level

La cama no era muy cómoda, parecía que estaba húmeda, o que tenia plástico el colchón y eso lo hacía como húmedo. Además se escucha todo el ruido de la habitación del lado

The hotel is strategically located near a cliff facing a canyon with the Magdalena River down below. It is just breath taking. The room and the whole complex carries this relaxing vibe. The popular sites are very close and you can even visit several spots during one day. The staff is very kind and helpful. In general people from the region are extremely helpful and kindhearted.

We visit on low season, after a holiday, the weather was very rainy. The hotel has a parking lot in the lower part, right by the entrance and another in upper level close to the reception. In the first night we parked in the lower parking lot. The second night we decided to move it to the upper lot. We were asked to move it back down, (despite the fact there were not many guests and plenty of room in that area), Others were allowed to park there (I presume VIP guests and upper management). It was not that much of a problem but I believe the key to the hospitality business is to give you the illusion that you are important and they care about you.

Que el chico que nos ayudaba con las maletas al irnos no tuvo nada de cuidado con ellas y nos rompió una de las maletas. Lo peor no es la maleta que es material si no el querer ocultarlo y no decirlo.

Las instalaciones son preciosas, cómodas y el personal es muy amable.

El restaurante podría mejorar en algunos detalles. Servir las bebidas calientes del desayuno en tazas con plato, arreglar las mesas que quedan desordenadas en la noche a primera hora de la mañana, algunas cosas del menú, como las ensaladas, podrían mejorar. La música es fuerte y no es muy buena.

Uitgebreid ontbijt. Je kon van tevoren kiezen uit een soort menu. Vervolgens werd het vers in de keuken gemaakt. Soms duurde het wat langer, maar het was het waard.

The room was beautiful, clean, and had a really terrific view. The whole of the hotel is beautifully built, and fits in well with the local scenery. Ecofriendly and gives the feeling of being outdoors, yet still luxurious. It's not too far from the main attractions of the area, and the front desk staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They are able to arrange excellent drivers and tour guides. The food and drinks in the restaurant and bar are also top notch. Great value for money overall.

The rooms are quite a distance away from the reception area, and I was not offered any assistance in getting to my room with all of my luggage. Luckily I had packed light, but had I taken one of my suitcases with wheels it would have been impossible as the whole road to the rooms is uphill and gravel. The waiters in the restaurant were also slow and inattentive at times.

It's Masaya San Agustin. That's all.obviously it's the best, most romantic,best food, mas tranquilo, place and the staff treat you like you are important and are so sweet, the massage was awesome too. Our second time and we'll be back next year. San Agustin and Masaya are a tradition for us. Unforgettable.

The view in the morning from the terrace was exceptional. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious and we ate here both nights at the restaurant because the flavors could not be beat! The rooms were clean, modern, and the shower was wonderful....hot, hot water with lots of space to move!

I wish it were a tad closer to town, but I wouldn't let this affect my reason to stay here. It is an amazing place!

The whole place is beautiful and different, it is quite a location and setting.

It can be really cold at night and there is no way to heat the room up, we had a cold due to the trip (A/C mostly) and weather changes, so a warm place to sleep was needed. Breakfast is nice, except the coffee, tasteless all the time, something that just cannot happen in the region and in Colombia! Hosts were really noisy in room areas as if nobody else is sleeping or resting, an effort for all to be quiet is mostly needed

The view was beautiful, and the rooms were really comfortable, clean, and pleasant.

The massage attention was off, and the food variety was really limited for us. If the brand sells an experience, it must handle every detail, including the work they outsource to other companies; it should have a unified service and offer the same things, even if they are different companies. Although they are listed on Google Maps as a restaurant with vegetarian options, they don't have such a thing.

I want to thank you, this was the best stay in Colombia! This stay was really great, all the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is so beautiful, and Jose was the best! The horse tour with Jose was wonderful! And he actually became our family friend (I stayed with three kids), and helped us with many little things like shopping. Finally, he saw our bus tickets to Ecuador that we bought from a travel agency, and realized that these tickets were illegal, and he went with us to demand back the money (actually involved the police!), and arranged for us a safer journey.

Location, view, surroundings, property were all fantastic.

There was not enough hot water in the tank to have a shower and fill the outdoor tub with hot water. It ended up just being lukewarm. Service in the restaurant could be a bit slow. These did not take away from an otherwise fantastic stay!

Literally everything was perfect. The staff was amazing, the location is easily 11/10, the rooms were massive, incredible views, breakfast was great (especially that it was free), the common areas were always so clean and we used the ping pong table toooo much.

One time I remember saying I wished we had two garbage cans in the room, instead of just one in the washroom. But if that's my only complaint, then that's amazing lol!

The only thing I missed was a plant based milk alternative for my coffee - so not very much :-)

Very comfortable beds. Lovely view from our room. The restaurant was excellent with a varied menu and lovely cocktails. We were really impressed!

Almost nowhere to put clothes in the rooms. Very little hanging space or hangers and only 1 draw!
