not good for tourist only for working locals with lots of semi truck traffic on the highway in front no restaurants in the area too far to the old city

This is essentially the only hotel within walking distance of the port and shipyard, not that you'd want to make the walk along the busy, dusty road. Restaurant staff was friendly, and meals were cheap and OK. Air conditioner was a little smelly but worked.

Rooms are tiny and bleak; photos must be from when the hotel was new. Shower had no shower head, no hot water. Front desk staff was indifferent and didn't have really any advice about the area. Wifi may have been free, but on the second floor it didn't work. Nor did the TV. Worst of all, the hotel is clearly also permanent housing for several families, whose small children are loud in the hallways at all hours. The thin walls do not keep out the voices or the neighbors' TVs. Payment is cash only.
