We liked that the casitas are off the beaten path so you need a car. The location is great for staying home or cooking and eating at your casita so you can watch the sunset and the whales and hear the pounding surf from the porch. There are a few ways to walk to the beach (not swimmable) and have lovely picnics or long walks. The views were very important to us so we liked to be at the casita. Barb could not have been a more lovely host and really helped us out of a jam.

Location location location! a beautiful garden with the pacific ocean and gorgeous sunsets, this place is very special, Barb is wonderful, Casa Flores is perfectly tucked away yet close to town. I highly recommend this boutique hotel, so cute, great value

only one aspect was disappointing, all three of us had horrible uncomfortable beds! I actually thought the king was a wooden box with a sheet over it! The twin beds were super loud, creaky with every move, my daughter slept on the little couch instead (and she's 6' tall).

The location was very difficult to find. Arriving at night it was practically impossible.

The door wouldn't lock so we had to take all our valuable things with us everywhere we went everyday.

The place is wonderful, a little slice of paradise. Barb is a great host and our stay was really pleasant, just be careful, you may wanna move here.

We booked this place because it was our anniversary and brought our 11month daughter with us. It has a very clean pool and an amazing view. Plus a very quiet place. We loved the room, it has everything we needed and it was very clean. I highly recommended and will definitely come back. Thank you!

It was kind of dark at night and couldn't see the steps with my baby in my arms. I recommend a sensor light. However, with our cellphone worked well!

The location is amazing, it's next to an incredible trail that takes you through rocks, catcti and above a lagoon before reaching a deserted beach. Highly recommend. Barb was extremely accommodating and the property is perfectly quiet, day and night. Very relaxing.

The casitas are very nice and well appointed. The room was colorful and was well put together and decorated. The kitchen area was well outfitted, though we did not cook. The pool and sitting area was steps away from the room. The gardens were beautiful and well kept. The view from the casita is beautiful. If you do not have a car it would be difficult to stay there as it is far from town. The roads are dirt, which was fine with us, but can be daunting to some. Also, you need to drive to the ocean. The proprietor is wonderful and helpful. She lives on the premises which really makes a difference.

We loved everything! Wonderful location with spectacular views! Within walking distance to both the town and beach. Property is beautiful with great landscaping and we really enjoyed the pool. Our room was very comfortable with a great porch and sunny views of the ocean. Barb is a wonderful host -the perfect combination of laid-back and attentive.

Barb was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We liked her little dog, Frieda! We also liked the pool, ocean view and sound of the waves at night. The room was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the town. Beautiful beach for walking.
