The place is magnificent!! very comfortable spacious room with an Airco!!! 😀 wonderful bed and a TV is a bonus. A very big shower and luxurious amenities, everything eco friendly. The food was also fantastic. as other reviewers mentioned the choice is not big but the quality is more important to me. Also you can ask for any extras or changes. the staff is always there to help you and make your stay even more comfortable. Don’t be shy and just ask for what you need. Great safari, saw lots of elephants and other animals. I spent my birthday at this wonderful place and it was the best time ever.
more fruits or fresh juices would be great.

We stayed 3 nights in the unbelievable basic but charming and luxurious hideout in the Mole National Park.
It was a unforgettable break out into the wildness and gorgeous nature with Elephants, monkeys and many colorful birds during the organized safaris or just walking through the resort :)
The guest rooms are African style tents including a big terrace with breathtaking views looking over the park and two watering holes. The back part of the tents include a huge bathroom and showers. Everything is designed and decorated simplistic but very stylish, thoughtful and luxurious.
The bar and restaurant overlook a infinity pool and the fantastic views of the watering hole down in the park. The pool is perfect for swimming and relaxing in the sun with a delicious cocktail. The food was always perfect and many options available including fresh fruits and local products.
The time at Zaina lodge was a blast and we will definitely come back for more pleasant and relaxing time :)

Let me start with saying, that the entire Staff was so lovely and professional.
Big thank you to all of the Service members, especially Manni. He tried his best, to make us understand the Ghanian culture a bit better.
The food was just perfect and prepared with so much love. (5 ⭐️ )The Chef was so lovey, considerate and patient.
The safari tour with Daniel and the driver was very adventurous and educational. They did their very best, for us to see the animals which was successful.
The entire Lodge is just so beautiful. The rooms are very unique, clean and it had an AC.
We even had Animals come to our doorstep. It was just an amazing experience I cant describe it, you would have to see it for your self.
I would do it all over again. It was definitely one of our best experience in Ghana.
Thank you so so much to the entire Zaina Team♥️

It is calm, serene and quite close to nature. Animals were moving around very freely. Quite an experience with some elephants that came really close to the lodge on Saturday morning.
No hot water for showering in the morning. WiFi was totally horrible. Next to useless. Food and drink options were limited and you couldn't really go anywhere other than the paid tour.

Zaina lodge is EXCELLENT. We have travelled all over the world but Zaina offered the most unique experience. The staff (Andrew and team) were phenomenal. The location is has spectacular views. The lodges themselves were high end and super comfy. The food was well prepared and we were asked at all time whether they could improve our experience. The safari experience here was GOLD. You'll not regret going here.
Nothing.

The food was excellent. The location was amazing and we had lots of opportunities to see the elephants and other wildlife
I appreciate that we are in a national park, but to improve the dining experience in the evening , it would be better to have some sort of cover from the insects.

Zaina is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to be based to see incredible wildlife & learn about the flora & fauna.
We had 2 safaris, 3.30pm & 6.30am the next morning. Both very different & with extremely knowledgeable guides.
We saw many animals in the afternoon including 2 very large elephants who crossed the track very close to us.
Fewer in the morning but still interesting and we saw a completely different habitat. The baboons were great and had babies, we saw many birds & antelope.
Staying a ‘tent’ overlooking 2 waterholes we spent a lot of time sitting on our balcony watching elephants bathing. We saw 13 different ones altogether.
The staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, the accommodation is fabulous & the restaurant is beautiful overlooking the bush & the infinity pool.
Our only tiny complaint was lack of choice of menu & we found a large breakfast followed by 2. 3 course meals each day was too much.
We would very highly recommend Zaina Lodge.
It is more expensive by Ghana standards but reasonable by GB prices and very much worth it.

Unbelievable set up with incredible infinity pool for watching elephants. Good food and amazing safari with very knowledgeable guides. Rooms are really well laid out.
The service was generally good but communication was a bit lacking at times. For instance around meal times and how to book safaris, we were only offered a single time as the others were booked but it wasn’t clear how they had all been booked already... on cleanliness it was mostly good but on arrival there was a bit of lizard poo in various places in the room. Other elements of the service are confusing: for instance are drinks at meal times waiter service or not? Fine either way it just needs to be clear. The lodge also should consider how to manage big group bookings and make sure that they don’t dominate the shared spaces.

Everything was amazing from the very moment we arrived until our departure. The views are amazing, the rooms as well, and the staff is very professional and welcoming. Something (small) I very much enjoyed was the natural shower gel.

The views from everywhere on the property allowed us to experience the wildlife. The property uses all natural materials and you feel inserted in the natural habitat of the animals. Although we didn’t see a lot of animals on the safari, the animals literally come around the lodge so are unmissable.
The staff were exceptionally awesome! Particularly the general manager, Andrew, who made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The food is a must have! When we stayed, chef Jacob, fed us amazing and tasty food in abundance.
A must visit in Ghana!

Staying in this lodge was without any doubt a highlight of my Ghana journey and I can recommend this place highly to anybody with sufficient budget. What stood out the most was the peaceful quietness of this place, just complimented by the noises of nature. Standing next to the pool, just enjoying the view over Mole National Park and enjoying the sunset was really wonderful. The main building is unique in architecture and incredibly beautiful.
I very much enjoyed the safaris, which are included in the all-inclusive-package and it was mind-blowing to come this close to elephants, antilopes and other animals. The guide and driver were both not only very knowledgable about flora and fauna, but also very kind and fun to be with.
The room, or "tent" as labeled on booking.com, is in fact a beautiful and incredibly comfortable chalet with a private bathroom-anex, very generous in space and amenities. The beds were without doubt the most comfortable ones I've encountered anywhere in Ghana, the beautiful treasure chest with ice-cold water was a nice gimmick and the illumination concept was well thought out.
Food was quite good, with the meals being served as a buffet. I especially enjoyed the variety of authentic Ghanaian dishes, they tasted superb. Another nice treat were the fresh fruits in the morning, which out of whatever reason are rarely seen in Ghana. Staff was very polite, very well trained and was professional all the time. I felt very well treated, but anything else, to be honest, would be a shame, considering the prices charged for a stay here. Nevertheless, if I come back to Northern Ghana, I would not hesitate to come back again, I met great people in Zaina Lodge, enjoyed beautiful days and had a blast.
Nearly everything during my stay was perfect or close to it. The major drawback is the difficulty to reach the lodge from the next big city, Tamale. The lodge offers a transfer service but this comes at a ridiciulously high price which the manager explained to me was due to the fact that unlike other transportation services it was fully protected by insurances in case of accident. While this sounded understandable, the difference was that high, I decided to look for another driver when I've landed in Tamale. It was very easy to find somebody charging just a fracture of the "official" price.
