We enjoyed our stay. The only problem we encountered with the cabin was it was not elderly friendly. It was difficult for our older guests to climb up and down the stairs inside and steps outside to get to the kitchen and main living area, which are on the second floor. Everything else was nice and enjoyable.

We arrived after check-in and found the cabin not ready for us. After contacting the owner/manager she was able to get someone to come by to clean and prepare the rooms. It was a tough start to a long travel day, but the owner/manager went on to make it right. The cabin is very large with four separate bedrooms and bathrooms; a great find for the price and for the location. The pictures need to be updated and the cabin could be made a little less cute by removing the many knickknack that are always gathering dust and make it seem cluttered and dingy at times. Be ready for a steep driveway that is actually steeper than it appears in the pictures. Overall, this is a great location and a great find for a large gathering. I wanted to give it five-stars, but it just falls a little shy. That said, I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, great cabin and plenty of space. Overall this is a good property and the owner is as accommodating as you need. There were a couple of maintenance issues but overall very enjoyable. On a scale of 1-10 I would give a 7…..with a little TLC this could be a 12. 😉😉. I would stay again.

Awesome from the start. I had contacted Maria about needing to xheck in earlier than listed time. Maria got back to me very quick with a response. When we arrivwd at this beautiful cabin it looked better than then pictures. The cabin was very clean decirated nicely, cabin was very cool as Maria had the Ac turned on. Hot tub was just right temprature. Smelled fresh, rooms were nice each had own bathroom and showers, fresh linen and towles on the bed, beds were comfortable for some but not all. I loved there was a tree going right through the spiral staircase lol. Very unique. Overall Marias mountain hideaway was excatly what we were looking for. The friends that were with us commented on hiw much they loved the cabin. We get together every year ans do a friends weekend. We have kniwn each other since highschool over 32 years so ita nice when we find a good place where we can relax and remember our highschool days. Thank you again Maria if we find ourselves back in Tenneesee we will reach out. Thank you from our highschool friends.

Cozy and memorable

We had a great time and would recommend this place to others. If I have to have a concern, I would say Maria did not notify me when she was having somebody come over and look at the central air but the guys were super nice and they weren’t there for very long , otherwise she did get back with me on the electrical issue. my children and my sister and brother-in-law all had a really nice time I thank you.

Place could use a few updates and a better repairman id say but who dosent have some repairs to do overall nice place ,great setting and good A/C Enjoyed !!!!

We had 10 family members stay there. Plenty of room for everybody loved the layout of the cabin. We also had to get together that night. With 40 other family members, plenty of room definitely recommend this cabin was very clean. We'll definitely book again.

The cabin was amazing and has a lot of parking. The host was nice and very fast to reply to my messages.

We enjoyed our stay with our extended family of 8 ages 2-67 and two small puppies. Plenty of sleeping space for all. -We cooked breakfast each morning and dinner one evening during our stay. The kitchen and dining table worked well for our family size. -We utilized the hot tub and pool table every day, it was a great addition to our adventures. -The Wi-Fi worked well, several of us were working or taking online classes and had no issues accessing our online platforms with the provided internet. -We did laundry during our stay and the facilities worked well for us and all the linens and towels provided were well laundered in advanced and smelled very clean. -The location was nice, we felt secluded but were just a short drive from grocery and small restaurants as well as some shopping. We had no issues driving into pigeon forge or gatlinburg for more adventures. The only complaint was lighting, the kitchen and dining area was pretty dark even with all the lights on. The outside areas down to the ends of the circle drive we’re also very dark at night making taking our dogs out difficult, potentially unsafe, fortunately we brought a high power flashlight. I’d stay again!

We have a great visit to the Sevierville area and enjoyed the house. The location was fantastic, near the freeway, easy access to Pigeon Forge and close to lots of attractions, like Soaky Mountain, in Sevierville. The house itself is a bit older but charming. It was in need a good deep clean (mostly dusty) and some minor repairs but nothing that dampened or affected to our stay. My only word of caution is that if you have anyone with mobility issues, this may not be the best house. The spiral staircase in the middle of the house goes to the loft and to the basement and it was a bit hard for my mom to navigate. She was able to get in the house with the outside stairs without issues and the master bedroom has a walk in shower so those were both pluses. The house has three floors: a loft area with a bathroom, the first floor with the master, kitchen and family room and the basement with two bedrooms. This set up was perfect for us with my husband and I in the loft, my parents on the first floor and the kids in the basement. It allowed privacy for all of us but also gave us good meeting spots on the first floor and in the basement. Maria was fantastic, answering all my questions and addressing any repairs that came up promptly. I would not hesitate to rent from her again. Overall, great location, great house, great owner.

Great spot! Nice cabin, very clean. Communication with host was fantastic, one minor issue was reapired and resolved within an hour of contacting host. Would visit again!

Nice cabin, all amenities in working order.

The beds, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. This listing desperately needs updated pictures. The cabin could be so cute and give an overall sense of cleanliness if they got rid of the abundance of small and fake plant decor. None of that is able to be cleaned sufficiently giving an overall dirty and dated vibe. The furniture was also dated and excessive. Be aware, you are required to buy rental insurance, which was the first for us with any rental we have ever done on VRBO. Location is what made me pick this place for a one night stay as a place to rest on a long cross country trip and the location was convenient to the highway.

Very clean and we liked that each bedroom had a private bath. Beds were comfortable. It’s perfect for a group as there is living area upstairs and in the basement. The door in the basement didn’t close securely and we had trouble getting the temperature regulated. The owner got the heat going , but the bedrooms were cold the first couple of nights. Furniture in basement is nicer than the furniture upstairs, in both comfort and appearance. Even though there were a couple of issues, we loved the cabin and would stay there again.

This was a very pleasant and relaxing location. Quiet area removed from the city life. Enjoyed the friendly raccoon sneaking around the area. Couldn't express any more just how relaxing the stay was.

Overall our stay was very nice. Had some issues on our last night with the hot tub and where the hot tub is the boards didn’t feel very safe in some spots. The grill was extremely dirty and was unable to use and did catch fire after cleaning it some and heating it up. Other than those two issues the stay was nice.

The house had enough space for our 3 families (6 Adults, 4 kids); basically a floor per family that we were all comfortable the entire stay. Love that the kitchen had 2 fridges we had plenty of space for food and beverages for the week. Some things in the house could use some TLC but everything functioned as it should and we had no issues with anything. Few things to point out that we didn't realize when booking; The bedroom on the 3rd/top floor is a loft and open to the main living area so it can be loud in the morning/night depending on your group. The bar/pool room in the pictures is closed for renovations and the pool table has been moved into the main house in front of the kitchenette. Wasn't an issue for us and the kids enjoyed playing pool often. The owner was super responsive prior to our stay answering any questions we had and allowed us to check in early without issue. We had no need to reach out while we were there but I'm sure she would have been just as responsive. The location was great for us. Easy 20-30 min drive to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg which we did daily. If staying here over the summer months the water park is minutes away and looked fun. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider again if we were to visit the area again.

My friends and I met here for a bachelorette weekend. We had plenty of space to move around and get dressed. Having to refrigerators was awesome! The location was quiet and close enough to fun activities in pigeon forge.

This home was beautiful. Walking into the home and just exploring to find where places where was breath taking and a real pleasure to be hold.

We had a great time with our family/friends in the mountains. This property was in a great location. The only complaint we had was in the room on the main floor had dog hair all in the bed. When I reached out Maria she was very willing to get it fixed. Overall great place & sweet host!

Perfect location, close to grocery store. And close to gatlinburg. Beautiful home ,my family of 9 loved it and was very comfortable for all of us. We didn't want too leave !
