Superbe situation pour une chambre avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan ! Un balcon sur la mer exceptionnel et le domaine avec ses plantes aromatiques et ses arbres fruitiers ! Chambre tout à fait fonctionnelle, agréable et confortable ! Très bonne idée les BD à disposition ! Car "lire c'est refuser de mourir !" Les produits de douche et d'entretien respectent tout à fait l'exigence du local et de l'éco-responsable prôné par l'établissement ! À poursuivre !

Le domaine est mal signalisé sur les GPS.

En cas de tempête l’eau rentre par les baies vitrées ce qui humidifie le tour des fenêtres.

Appartement très agréable, calme et confortable . Nous avons réservé le spa et nous avons y passé un très bon moment. Merci d'ailleurs à la responsable pour son geste commercial.

Dommage qu'il y est si peu de vaisselle. Le lave vaisselle ne peut utilisé si on attend de le remplir dans un souci d'écologie.. Il manquait un tire bouchon, des accessoires pour les fruits de mer, dommage, en bord de mer.. très peu de couverts ainsi qu'une poêle très abîmée.. Nous étions 3 mais 2 lots de serviettes et malgré avoir prévenu le personnel, pas de serviettes supplémentaires.. Une seule télé dans la chambre et pas dans le salon à cause d'un manque de câble ????

Wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Sehr hundefreundlich. Auch außerhalb der Auberge eine ideale Lage für einen Urlaub mit Hund. Wir waren schon öfter hier .Zum ersten Mal 2001. Die Auberge hat sich stetig sehr positiv weiterentwickelt.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Fontaine. The photos don’t do it justice. The staff were very friendly and attentive with a high level of English, the gardens are beautifully maintained and the food in the restaurant was outstanding. We also absolutely loved the swimming pool which was very refreshing in the hot weather we had. The cabanas and sun beds by the pool were very comfortable and relaxing. Our children also loved the giant chess game and old fashioned merry-go-round that is pedal-powered in the garden - very memorable! It’s lovely to be able to walk to the sea and along the coast from the property.

Our room needed a little upgrading. The plumbing made a few noises and the electrics seemed a bit dated but I know that as part of the renovations lots of the rooms will be brand new so this wouldn’t stop us returning. At breakfast the first morning the lady gave a commentary to the French guests arriving about the food and what was where and where it was from. It would have been nice to also have been told this. I think maybe she assumed as we are English we might not understand but my understanding of French is pretty good as I used to live in France (albeit 20 years ago!) although my spoken French is very rusty!

Building works meant that access to the swimming pool involved a circuitous journey.

My idea of heaven. Even though there was work in progress during our stay the hotel has french charm and chic. Beautiful view from comfortable rooms. Not the biggest but had everything you'd need and more. Useful fridge/freezer and kitchenette area. The best breakfast ever in a relaxed beautiful environment. Excellent pool and sandy beach very close.

What a lovely place and what helpful staff. We stayed in a duplex with a balcony overlooking the garden and with a sea view. It was comfortable pretty and functional. A mezzanine bedroom kitchenette living space with table chairs and small settee. A toilet with separate bath/ shower room, small but adequate and perfect for us. The shower is excellent. There is also a safe deposit box in the room. You could easily stay for a self catering holiday or use the beautiful restaurant for your meals. The food is excellent. There is a small beach 5 minutes walk away and a heated pool at the property. It is an eco hotel so the gardens are not only lovely but also supply the herbs fruit vegetables and fresh eggs for the restaurant ( there are hens geese pigs etc.) And they have their own vines to produce wine. I would highly recommend this wonderful place.

It is important to let your guests know that taxi transportation needs to be booked in advanced to get from the train station to the hotel, and to do any activities away from the hotel

Purpose, environment, beautiful gardens

Accommodation still lovely in old auberge, but concerned about expansion that will dilute its exclusiveness and feel.

Restaurant had a very limited dinner menu and was very expensive for what it was. A few cockles in a bowl not much larger than an egg cup does not make an adequate starter and these could be bought for a few Euros in the market. Main courses a little better. Wine list expensive and quite limited in local choice. Breakfast not as good as on previous visits and expensive. For example, only one croissant each put out on your table. Coffee machine was not working and no boiling water for tea. Potager outside looked scruffy

The grounds and the pool was amazing, perfect for a family holiday. also a short walk to a beautiful beach.

The rooms need a little updating but the views were lovely and it was clean and comfortable.

It is spacious with lovely gardens and lots of extras to enjoy relaxing. The beautiful beach is also very close and the staff are so friendly and helpful.
