Ce chalet magnifiquement restauré datant de 1922 a été transféré en 2016 de Terralong Street Kiama à son emplacement actuel surplombant la magnifique vallée de Jamberoo, la montagne Saddleback et les chutes de Jerrara. Construit par M. et Mme W Kelly, dont le fils, George Orry Kelly, a mis Kiama sur la carte lorsqu'il a remporté trois Oscars pour la conception de costumes de cinéma, le cottage conserve bon nombre de ses éléments d'origine, tels que les planchers polis et les plafonds ornés. Sur les murs, vous trouverez quelques exemples de costumes d’Orry pour Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis et Tony Curtis, tandis que le DVD et le mémoire "Femmes que j'ai déshabillées - La vie et l’histoire fabuleuses d’un designer légendaire à Hollywood" sont à votre disposition pendant votre séjour.
Le chalet se trouve sur une ferme en activité dans un magnifique cadre rural avec beaucoup à voir et à faire soit localement, soit dans les villes de Kiama ou de Jamberoo (chacune à seulement 5 minutes en voiture).

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It has so much character and we sat out on the seats on the verandah for hours looking at the view. The location is stunning! Cate was so helpful and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was very fast. She took us for a buggy ride around the farm to visit the cattle and horses. I’d definitely stay again. Thanks Cate and Neil!

This place is just fabulous. So much care and attention to detail has been taken and only 5 minutes into Kiama. I am so very glad I booked here and I can't wait to come back again.
The only small issue is that the washer/dryer combo, we believe after extensive googling is a washer only and not a dryer. If it is a washer/dryer combo then some instructions would be fabulous. But hey, there's a clothesline so no harm done.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Kelly’s Cottage. The house was pristine clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable family stay. We were welcomed with a small basket of goodies for lunch and we had a visit from 2 adorable puppies. The cottage is conveniently located between Kiama’s city centre and the beautiful rainforest so there is plenty to do. The cottage is set at a magnificent rural setting with a beautiful garden at the back. Every evening we enjoyed watching fog setting at the saddleback mountain whilst enjoying our wine on the front verandah. Thank you Cate and Neil for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time at Kelly Cottage. The place was spotless and even though it is an older cottage it has all of the conveniences of a modern dwelling (a/c, dishwasher, proper beds and linen) The location is excellent (views, quiet, private) but also close enough to Kiama town and the regional attractions. The hosts were also fantastic. Would stay again for sure . Highly recommended.

Beautiful property surrounded by rolling hills as far as the eye could see. Very quiet and you can come and go as you like. Great amenities, had everything you need. Will definitely be coming back.

We loved our time at Kelly Cottage, every minute of it &, given it rained a fair bit with 2 very active young boys, couldn’t have asked for more. The house has everything you needed, the view was gorgeous & the fire place a winner. The trip round the farm was a treat too, thanks Neil. Thanks Cate & Neil we will be back!

A lovely, welcoming 3 bedroom cottage set amongst the rolling green hills behind Kiama. We enjoyed everything about Kelly’s Cottage from sipping champagne whilst watching the sunset over the hills from the porch, to an epic family games night battle by the warmth of the wood fire. The beds were super comfortable too. Like us you will be planning on returning.
