An absolute gem. The apartment is incredible. abstain if you like new/ shiny surfaces and one size fits all type of accommodation. This apartment is “old school” with plenty of history, beautiful art and very well furnished. even the crockery is vintage.

The location, (1 min walk to the beach) and the big balcony. (The balcony looks out on the main road leading into Tamariu.. very busy noisy)

The apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly!! The bathroom was dirty with grime between the tiles and owners personal items still in it, The kitchen was clutterd and everything felt sticky, the fridge was not clean and had food crumbs in it. The whole place just feels like it needs to be professionally cleaned. The apartment sleeps 4 adults not 6 (two beds are kids size). Don’t get me wrong, the actual apartment is really nice but it’s so full of personal items that it just feels like you’re staying at someones house instead of a holiday apartment.

We rate it with a 1 because, in fact, the only true thing is that it is quite close to the beach. However, it is also located just in front to the main road entrance to Tamariu meaning that all traffic pass by there. Also, all the trucks unloading goods for the supermarkets stop there, plus the trucks collecting garbage of the main containers placed also close by…. Basically, it is not really a place to rest.

We knew from the pictures on Booking.com that the design and interior were somewhat old fashioned, and we were fine with it. Once at the apartment we found that a lot of the facilities that are listed are not available, not working properly, or non-existing; like the elevator which can only be used with a key from the neighbours, no airco, blinds that were stuck, half of the kitchen appliances were too old and dirty to use, and to use the washing machine you would have to move the fridge. The WIFI was slow (and from the company located on the ground floor of the building) no Netflix or satellite TV. And the place was full of personal stuff from the owner. There is 1 master bedroom with a large double bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms with single beds. The size of the beds in one of the rooms are only suitable for small children, not for adults! There’s no garden, no playground and only public parking on the street. But what shocked us most was the dirty state of the apartment! It smelled damp and disgusting, a lot of furniture was sticky and there was dirt, dust, and food rests all over the floors. Matrasses, bed linen and towels were super dirty, and we were forced to buy new sets which we used during our stay. We had to spend most of the first day of our stay cleaning and accommodating the apartment to be there with our two girls! Considering the state of the apartment, it had obviously not been cleaned for months or even years!! And the worst thing is, there was a 50 EUR cleaning fee included in the cost of our booking… The property owner showed up an hour late at the apartment, handed over the keys and was only interested in quickly collecting the deposit, of which we didn't receive a receipt. We were unable to get in touch with him after that, and no one even showed up for check out, inspect the apartment, collect keys or return the deposit! The deposit was transferred to our account 5 days later, after insisting him every day!

Beautiful accommodation with very large balcony with a view to the sea just 109ft away very central to all the bars and restaurants very helpful owner and beautifully clean and spacious accommodation with all the facilities needed for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay

Everything was great great location and great facilities

The terrace was wonderful, a very large outdoor balcony with ample comfortable chairs and large table. Wonderful for eating outdoors even if it was raining.

The kitchen was very small and a little tired including the crockery but that certainly didn't spoil our stay there in any way.
