We were the first rental for the house this season. Not surprisingly there were a few hiccups, but Erin worked very hard to get things resolved so we could enjoy our stay in Lewes which we did. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The location is good being in the Cape Shores neighborhood. It's obvious she cares about her home and her renters experience while staying there which we appreciated. We would stay there again if we come back to Lewes in the future.

The house was lovely! It was beautifully decorated and very convenient. We enjoyed our meals on the screened-in porch, the short walk to the beach, and the bike rides into town and through the park. We hope to come back again!

We recently rented this house in Lewes, DE for a long weekend getaway with our friends and our children. One of the major advantages of the house was its proximity to a private beach. It made it incredibly convenient for our families with young children to access the beach without any hassle. We appreciated not having to travel far to enjoy the sun, sand, and waves. The house was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. Additionally, the presence of a Weber grill was a nice touch and allowed us to have enjoyable cookouts. The screened-in porch provided a lovely space where we could relax, enjoying the beautiful view of the pond nearby. The rental also included beach equipment and bikes, which added an extra element of fun for both the adults and the kids. A few things to note, though. With only one dish washer pod provided, we had to purchase additional pods to ensure we could clean all our dishes properly. Because replacement trash bags were not provided, we had to purchase additional bags. While we were aware of having to bring our own towels and linens prior to our arrival, it still added an extra level of preparation and packing for our trip. It would have been a nice touch to have basic toiletries like shampoo and conditioner available, especially for guests who were traveling from a distance or simply preferred not to bring their own. Overall, we had a wonderful time and created lasting memories.

Vitamin Sea had everything we needed for a great vacation! It was clean, comfortable, beautiful and just the right size for our family.

The house was in a perfect location. We enjoyed the beach, town, ferry to Cape May and sitting on the porch. The bedrooms were spacious and the house was full of sunlight.

Loved the cape shores community! The beach is not crowded and so relaxing. Vitamin sea is in a great location to the pool, loved the beach decor in the house and the high ceilings. Utilized the amenities provided such as the crab baskets, beach tent, kayak, bikes and paddle board. Loved how close the property is to the state park. We fell in love with lewes, cape shores, and vitamin sea!

My family loved our stay at Vitamin Sea! The house felt clean and spacious. We loved the close proximity to the community pool and enjoyed walking the pier at sunset. We prefer to drive in to Cape Henlopen to enjoy the beach, but morning walks on the bay are nice. We utilized the beach chairs available at the house which was nice to not have to lug ours from home and also enjoyed riding the bikes around the neighborhood. Beds are comfortable and we all slept great! Be sure to check out Fort Miles and the museum. Really neat! Communication with Erin was wonderful. We hope to stay again in the future! This was our second year at Vitamin Sea. It is the perfect beach house. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The screened porch was great for playing family games and eating dinner. We enjoyed using the new crock pot and waffle iron. Our daughter and son-in-law took the kids for two early morning kayak rides, and dolphins came up close to visit them each time. We are looking forward to returning next year!

this home measures up to its description. Home is very spacious, lovely decorated with high quality art, comfortable furniture, comfortable beds (and I'm very picky about beds being firm yet soft). Loved the screened in porch and front decks for lounging. Tv's in every room; lots of games and books. Used the kayaks and paddle board and bikes. Kitchen well equipped. Owner very responsive. Hope to stay here again next 2023.

The experience was great. The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean with many extra amenities including kayaks, bikes, a SUP board, beach toys, etc. We loved the neighborhood and the beach and pool too. Thanks so much for a wonderful and memorable vacation.

Neihborhood is quiet and safe. House is cute and cozy, great for small group of 5-6 people. Walking to beach is dirty and smelly. You have to drive 5 min to get to good beach. Wifi is weak and needs attention. Internet is not reliable. Cell is weak also. . Restaurant in area aren’t great but their is a lot of places for bicycling. We stayed 3 full days and was enough for this location.

The house was very nice/clean and in a very nice neighborhood. When they say a 3 min walk to beach they meant bay and we did not want to swim in it but the pier was very cool, escpecially if you like to fish! Bring your stuff. Check out time is way too early. The beds upstairs had all types of issues. The queen bed in the top floor was indented in the middle making the couple roll toward each other all night. The two twins in the other room upstairs were not stable on their bases. The umbrellas that they provide for the beach are broken so if that is important to you then bring your own. Make sure you read all the rules before you book. There are a couple a that were stressing my friends out. It seemed like there were too many cleaning requirements to fulfill to have a cleaning person coming after. The hostess was great tho and seemed very nice.

This house seems to have everything , including bikes for the areas many bike trails. The pool and bayside beach is less than a 5 minute walk. It’s a homey place and very well maintained.

This spot has everything. Easy access to the ocean, easy access to the bay, lovely pool. The house has many accessories that we’ve never seen in other places we’ve rented. Not just chairs and umbrellas but kayaks and games. The bonus room is a beautiful library. Erin was very helpful and supportive during our stay.

Vitamin Sea was a perfect vacation house for us! It was spotless, very well furnished and had sooo many extras! We made use of the bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and wagon, Giant Jenga, corn hole game, etc. The kitchen was just like being home, everything we needed was there. Lots of parking and walking distance to the pool and beach and Cape Henelopen is right next door! Definitely recommend Vitamin Sea without hesitation!

This was our sixth year in Lewes, and this is the perfect house for us. It was very clean, the neighbors were quiet, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the pond. We are returning next year.

We loved our time at this property. It was the perfect space for us to all reconnect. It was clean and provided us with all the comforts of home. The location is great. It is close to the pool and easy to access the park and trails. Lovely home.
