We are a group of 5 guys that visited the area to ride our motorcycles. The house was perfect for us. 5 separate sleeping areas worked great. The deck on back over looks the lake and was a great place to gather at the end of the day. There is a Dollar General Market just a few miles down the road which was well stocked for groceries. We came to ride and although we were prepared for unpaved roads, we couldn’t find any. Every road in Kentucky was paved and smooth. It is a very scenic area with friendly folks everywhere. I would definitely recommend visiting.

The home was perfect. We went to do some hiking and tours at Mammoth cave. We ended up hanging out at the house because it was so relaxing. Sitting on the deck watching the lake, having a fire, and kayaking. This was the perfect weekend getaway. Thank you.

This is our 4th time staying here and it just keeps getting better. The house was super clean, beautifully updated, well stocked and you can’t beat the setting. A group of friends and I booked to enjoy a couple days of fishing on the lake and we enjoyed this property so much. The check in/ check out process was easy. The property owner was wonderful to deal with and very responsive to messages. The property was clean and well maintained. Very quiet and peaceful area with a great back deck to enjoy the views on. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This lake house was super adorable. The layout made it comfortable for my family of 8 adults and 2 children to comfortably spend time together while still allowing us space to do our own things as well. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. We were secluded enough that we didn't feel the hustle and bustle of every day life but also not so far from everything that we couldn't enjoy the local activities. The steps down to the lake are a bit steep just as a heads up. But they were well maintained and it seemed like most stair cases around the lake are about the same given the terrain. We all absolutely loved our vacation here and would definitely return if we ever found ourselves in the area again! Thank you!

Nice place. Plenty of space for 4 adults & 3 teens. Loved the outside space, covered deck and patio. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great. Kids loved the swimming area. Not far from a grocery store and Mammoth Caves. The cons were that some beds were not clean and the floors had not been cleaned properly either. The drainfield (backyard) was wet the whole 3 days we were there. Firepit area too wet to have a campfire. Lawn got mowed while we were gone and the wet grass clippings were blown all over the back patio and then tracked in the house. Overall if these things were fixed I'd recommend this place.

The lake was great for swimming and kayaking. The deck was outstanding for hanging out and enjoying the view. The house itself was very nice and could comfortably sleep 12 adults. The drive in and out of the neighborhood was very curvy and hilly and not close to much without driving 45 minutes or so. This home is an excellent choice for staying put and hanging out with your friends and/or family, but not great if you want to go to restaurants and more city-type activities. While we were there we went to Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Down Under, which were really great and pretty close to the home.

The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The dock space was perfect for the two boats that we brought. We didn’t have power for the first day and a half due to a storm. The owner provided a generator and was helpful in keeping us updated on when we should expect the power to come back on.

Home was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. Spacious home for both families (7 people). Very nice deck with plenty is seating. The lake view is beautiful. Enjoyed our stay.

Met our needs. Grill had nest in it, never was ble to get it started. Overall ok.

The place was really clean, beds very comfortable. They had plenty of dishes and towels. We rented it for 13 people but only 8 showed up so plenty of beds for everyone. It was myself , my daughter and so in law, her oldest son ( my grandson) and his girlfriend, my 2 teenage grandsons and my teenage granddaughter. They all had a great time using the kayaks and fishing. I even went out on kayak the last day and it was fun. We used the fire pit to make s'mores. Loved the place didn't want to leave. It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the patio and watching the river. Love to go back sometime

Very nice property, beautiful view of the lake. Adequate space, well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Outside furniture was adequate. However, the house needs a good cleaning - above what one person can accomplish in an afternoon between customers. The furniture was very stained and worn. Years of built up dust on fans, baseboards and under furniture. The bathroom door nobs edges of doors were very dirty. Gas grill was very dirty (planned to use but could not), there was no wood for fire ring we had hoped to use. The company was great and we had a good time in spite of this. I really don't like to be critical but we have been vacationing through VRBO for years and this is the first time we have been disappointed. I hope the owners will take this reference to heart and have the place thoroughly cleaned - its a health issue.

Great lake views, close to several places to hike, and very quite.

Our family enjoyed our time at the lake. The deck was peaceful and had great views. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The house was immaculate and included everything we needed to relax and have fun. It was an amazing place to spend time with the family.

This was our second time staying here. It is the perfect location for my children to all meet. Some live in Georgia, while the rest of us live in northern Indiana. We love this house and it's quietness from the hustle and bustle of life. Would highly recommend!

Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The only downside was that it seemed a lot of steps had been missed during cleaning the home (dirty sheets and towels left on the floor, trash not taken out). The host had the housekeeper come over the next day, which I do appreciate, and I hope this was just a fluke. The view is beautiful!

This was a great place for our family to use as home base. Not too far from mammoth cave, plus great views of the lake. There was lots to do at the house as well like a fire pit, kayaking, board games etc. I would recommend this house for a famil trip!

Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we'd rent again in the future. The lake was gorgeous and warm in September. Everybody enjoyed the dock for swimming & kayaks for exploring. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We did experience a couple small issues. First off, the tap water was undrinkable, due to a musty/moldy taste. We went out and bought bottled water for drinking. Since this wasn't mentioned in the listing or prior reviews, I'm guessing it's not always this way and likely was out of the host's control. Second, we couldn't figure out how to use the Netflix & Amazon Prime video as mentioned in the listing. We opted not to reach out to the host for assistance, since there were plenty of other things to do.

Beautiful property and quiet. Extremely clean. Plenty of beds and room for all 9 of us. Would definitely come back in summer to enjoy the dock and swimming. Thanks!
